Would have liked to use my racial card peeking ability if I may.
I made a deal that if Saar accepted my trade contract then I wouldn't steal from him for 2 rounds, so having him play a card wouldn't have altered my decision of who to target.
Can't steal from Saar. Wouldn't want to interrupt possible Winnu action against Mentak. Poor Arborec doesn't need any more dumping on. Mentak doesn't have any.
It would have to be Hacan then. Nothing personal. The invisible hand of wealth redistribution acts on its own.
You meant to play one in the strategy phase but just missed the update announcing the start of the action phase and nothing has happened that would affect that decision, or you want to retroactively play one only after finding out you're the target?
Blarney's call either way, but my case was definitely the former. Why would anyone ever not use this or mentak's racial ability? It's pretty much an automatic given. I was just used to waiting for the host to prompt Mentak and I to use our racial abilities like the previous rounds.
My case is if you are allowed to go back and steal something from me, I will play a card in retribution. If you don't or aren't allowed, there will be no retribution - that sounds right to me. But I also don't think the host is responsible for reminding anyone of anything outside of the regular flow of play.

I would rather not have to go back and allow the use of the Yssaril racial ability at this point. In any case, I believe I've used as much signaling for it this round as in previous rounds; I've not needed to use any @ callouts for the ability's invocation previously.

I agree that a rollback is not too much of a hassle in this case. I also agree that Hacan would've been an obvious choice. I don't mind rolling back a bit.

Personally, I can see cutting a new player slack or even letting it slide in round one or two, but we are in Round 5. I knew you had this ability and I specifically was NOT mentioning it for this exact reason. Again, I will go with whatever Blarney says but if we go back, I would like to play my action card and then we have to do sabo and so on.
And I bought Flanking Action from Mentak. It is destined to be recycled I feel.
