    im only making like 150 every two weeks

    but thats because they let me leave whenever i want and im lazy so i end up staying for like 2 hours before i get bored

    and then next friday its like "oh hey heres almost 200 bucks"

    My friend works for a storage facility and basically does the same thing as you.

    I on the other hand get odd jobs tearing down houses and moving rocks...

    I'm a firefighter.

    It's not a job that will make me a millionaire ever, but I sure as hell can live pretty comfortably from it.

    I'm still trying to figure out if having full medical and dental is cooler then riding in a fire truck (it isn't).

    In our city we work one 24 hour shift every 4 days. Some days you don't do jack shit because nothing happens in the city, and sometimes you don't do anything because it just isn't happening on your side of town, but on some days you can be as busy as all get out. But we do some sort of training and some kind of area familiarization every shift though.

    My mom told my brother to try to be a firefighter, her reasoning being that the job was easy and safe.

    Than I reminded her that they have to jump into buildings on fire.
