Videogame recommendation

Hey, I figured you guys could help me, but if this was meant for G&T, please excuse meh.. this kind of small "help me!" type thread seemed more fitting here.

My cousin Steve is living with us and he's a good guy. Therefor I'd like to buy him a videogame that he'd enjoy. I'm just at a loss for what to get him because he's usually pretty content with anything (which means he'd probably enjoy just about anything). He just recently got a PC *and* a DS and he's not a huge gamer by any means, but I'm slowly converting him to be one. His PC isn't top-end, so keep that in mind as well.

His likes from what I know:
  • Oblivion (PC)
  • Pokemon Diamond (DS)
  • Guitar Hero (PS2 - he doesn't have one though)

..and that's pretty much it. I'm shooting for something for PC because, combined, me and my bro have a bunch of AAA DS games lying around that Steve hasn't played yet..
..but what?

Bioshock seems a popular PC choice these days.

Wait a tick. I've got Bioshock sitting on my computer already and he could just play it from here if he wanted to. He hasn't wanted to though.

There are bunch of great titles coming out soon.

COD4, The Witcher and Crysis are good examples

    ...

I had a friend that didn't want to play Bioshock either.

    HAD

I do know that some people have figured out a way to play GH2 on the PC... since the guitar (at least the Microsoft one, not sure about PS2) is simply USB, it really shouldn't be that hard. And people have taken some awesome songs and made them guitarheroie...

But honestly, your friend sounds like he might be better suited as a console gamer then a PC gamer.

Or just get him hooked on WOW... especially if you don't like him much.

How about Half-Life 2? That's usually good for most people, whether they're into FPS's or not.

Call of Duty might also be good.

If he's played Oblivion, he'd probably like Morrowwind. A couple of my friends said they liked Morrowind better than Oblivion, overall, so I'll toss that out for what it's worth.

I'm a big fan of Myst 1 - 3, but a lot of people hate those with a passion, so I offer the suggestion somewhat abashedly.

Psychonauts is also awesome, though I played it on PS2. You can also get Ubisoft's "Beyond Good & Evil" for PC, which is horribly overlooked game.

I'm glad to see so many people suggesting Bioshock, since I'm ordering it soon. ^_^

My all time favorite series of PC games has to be Baldurs Gate. I still have all my BG stuff both games and both expansions and my guides and hotkey charts. You can probably find it on the cheap too since its an older game.

I would like to put something clever and about me but I fear my company will find it
