The postman arrived just when I was about to leave for work. Of course I couldn't resist and opened it. Will post pictures later. I'm at work now and after work I'm going with my friends to see the Desolation of Smaug. I love fantasy, so the books are right up my alley. Not sure what the third one is about, which I will find out later tonight!

In the post today, not only did I get a pair of amazon packages containing rad card games (Love Letter & Hanabi), I also got a letter from minirhyder. A hand-writte letter. That is over two pages long. Every line. My hand hurts just looking at it.
All this in addition to that fantastic starter brewing kit I posted about a few pages ago.

Hey Santa! I got my gift and it is absolutely excellent and I love it! Not sure how you knew about my love affair with Hayao Miyazaki, but Starting Point, a collection of essays and writings about the man himself along with the novel of My Neighbor Totoro is a sweet haul!
You know, oddly enough that is the one movie of his I have never seen. I have even read several essays that reference scenes from My Neighbor Totoro, but somehow managed to never pick up the full movie. I will remedy that problem as soon as I finish the book.
So a big thanks @Maz- ! Sorry for taking so long and I will get pics up soon of my uncooperative animal package checkers, but its the end of the semester and all the grading is reducing my brain to mush so that I can only follow the most basic functions upon getting home (Eat, sleep, and starbound, not necessarily in that order).

Now let me tell you a story about this little shit right here. The package was sitting on the dining room table waiting to be opened when my other half and I heard the sound of a cardboard box popping open. We both looked over and saw Oglaf here laying next to the open box. We asked him if he'd opened the box and he just stared up at us, and reached his paw into the box, placed it upon the contents and then pulled it out, all without breaking eye contact. It was like, "Bitch, this is MAH box!" I wish we had the camera close at hand at the time.

Also that husky belongs to our good friends. His name is Loki and he's a broken derp husky. He hardly makes any noise and is pretty small and skinny for being full grown.

I just scrolled through the entire game lists on PS3/Vita (there's nothing really out on the PS4 digital store yet) and I've already purchased everything I want to play. This actually means it's the perfect gift - it's a service I use so much that I've literally bought everything I want to play on it, even a pre-order on Assassin's Creed: Liberation HD a couple weeks ago (which this would have been perfect for, seeing as that game was $19.99)
But trust me, this wallet amount will be used.
