Monsoon's Sai, when you let it charge up, can be the difference between life and death for certain enemy types. Those gorilla bots absolutely hate that thing, and so do the Gekkos
I noticed that Sundowner's scissor blade basically had armor on it in addition to doing SO MUCH DAMAGE that I would get to Zandatsu a gekko in one or two hits
Yeah you get insane damage reduction when you're in the animation for a charged up attack with Sundowner's blade. Even on Revengeance enemies can barely hurt you through it. If you're not going for a No Damage bonus then it's one of the best enemy killers in the whole game (and even if you are, it's super useful if you're careful)
The lighting in particular makes it hard to look at at times

Eh, the visuals in 4 are fine
It's a little jarring going from 4 to V and the yellow-green filter over everything only feels like a weirder choice the further we get away from the age of 'realistic videogames means brown and gray', but there's isn't really anything that's bad

I mentioned this a few pages back, but some time in the 80s is when Big Boss rescues Frank from torture in Mozambique when he's a soldier for RENAMO, which is also where he meets Naomi. And considering Frank loses his nose and ears to torture there, and the fact that like... everybody is losing SOME kind of limb in TPP, I'd be surprised if he doesn't show up.

MGS2 in the new year (?) should be good, glad to hear he's going to keep at it, given that this was what pushed me over into Premium.
