For real though, there's been such a torrent of shit coming out about people recently that I'm really glad JA is completely stand up guy. Very chuffed with today, made the 3 hour queue to get in worth it.
He's always been super nice when I've met him. In Leeds a couple of years ago he stopped to talk to me for ten minutes or so in the middle of a busy con.
There's also the coolest thing where my wife bought me a few scarygoround t-shirts from topatoco but they didn't arrive in time for my birthday, so she emailed him to ask how long they'd take and he, of his own accord, sent a signed original ink / pencil page from when the mayor was fighting Tim Jones to be the next mayor.
I really need to find where that went. It was in my office for 6 years but the frame got cracked when we moved house. Hmm.
Edit: that was actually final year university so 9 years ago. Whoa.

Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if Labor had not first existed. Labor is superior to capital, and deserves much the higher consideration. - Lincoln

If he were to ever read this, I would apologise for how my semi deafness and the loud conference atmosphere led to a slightly stifled conversation

maybe Gumpy could become an honorary northerner because of this, Solar.
