free radicals exist naturally but things we use increase them and lead to cancer
did you know they found out fabreeze and air fresheners are carcinogenic
Ever since I passed Organic chemistry, I'm deathly afraid of decaffeinated products and sugar substitutes because I know what's in them. Cancer scares me more the fat.
"There are times, however, and this is one of them, when even being right feels wrong. What do you say, for instance, about a generation that has been taught that rain is poison and sex is death? If making love might be fatal and if a cool spring breeze on any summer afternoon can turn a crystal blue lake into a puddle of black poison right in front of your eyes, there is not much left except TV and relentless masturbation. It's a strange world. Some people get rich and others eat shit and die. Who knows? If there is in fact, a heaven and a hell, all we know for sure is that hell will be a viciously overcrowded version of Phoenix — a clean well lighted place full of sunshine and bromides and fast cars where almost everybody seems vaguely happy, except those who know in their hearts what is missing... And being driven slowly and quietly into the kind of terminal craziness that comes with finally understanding that the one thing you want is not there. Missing. Back-ordered. No tengo. Vaya con dios. Grow up! Small is better. Take what you can get..." - Hunter S. Thompson.
That aside, man. That sucks so hard nap, so hard. It's just not fucking right. I hope they do something for the daughter. I don't pray but, I'll think positive thoughts.
why are you quoting a segment about how modern life is suspiciously like hell?
man.... Hope life gets better for your friends family.
I don't think you understand cancer
It is unfortunate that I do.
Very well.
Yeah. Cancer always wins eventually.
This is reminds me of my Grandpa.
He was one of those tough-as-nails types of grandfathers, hardened by the Depression and molded by WWII into some transcendently stoic badass motherfucker...like lots of our granddads, I would guess. Fucker had a truckload of logs break free once, and all roll over him, crushing his legs and hips. He was in his 60's when this happened, and when he died almost two decades later, he was not only walking, but he had no appreciable limp.
His attitude was always, "You can do anything you put your mind to, and beat anything you set your will against." And he always did.
Except with cancer. Where the big C was concerned, his attitude was pretty much "Holy fuck...if you get cancer, you are fucking dead."
And sure enough, when he got cancer, and they gave him 6 months to live, he pretty much resigned himself to dying. I don't mean that he gave up; he didn't. He was still a stoic badass...he just assumed that he was in fact dying.
And as it turns out, he died almost 6 months to the day from when they told him how long he had.

aspartame also breaks down and one of the byproducts forms a neural toxin
i still eat it but i think all the bad things we take in is just interesting in that its inescapable
like a calm before death
Seriously, I feel bad for you and your friend. I hope something good can come out of all this, although I seriously doubt it. Just be there for him, he'll need you more than he's ever needed anything in his whole life if the worst finally comes.

oh god no. i love fabreeze.
Seriously Phonehand, what the fuck dude?
i don't understand what you mean
We need a vaccine called the Manning shot. It will beat cancer after it's third try.
it is of the mindset that the more problems you solve the more exist
the more advanced a society becomes the more problems it creates.
It solves old ones and creates new ones
Ban everything.
Also, that really sucks.
Yeah but then the cancer just trades for Randy Moss.
I thought that was Phonehands thing
Both of my grandfathers, my dog died from cancer.
Right now my uncle is fighting for his life.
But my aunt did get better from her breast cancer, so keep hoping.
But then it mutates into pancriatic moss of the liver and just kills everyone.
edit: beat so fuckin hard.
If I can't compare Bill Belichick to cancer, then I don't want to play here any more. :P

My mom's friend's husband died (heart attack I think) and soon after her only son and his girlfriend gets murdered by a druggy wanting money.
Her lawyer lost the evidence against the killer so he walked. can't put him on trial for the same thing...
Now she lives alone with her little 15 year-old dog.
I go to her place from time to time to help her around the house. poor old lady.
it's funny cause it's true!

neither of those things are funny!
Identity =/= causation

That might be worse luck than Stale.
PARKER, YOU'RE FIRED! <-- My comic book podcast! Satan look here!
That's pretty much it. It causes itself and then exponentially increases the risk of itself to your offspring.
Yeah I think I should go see a psychiatrist about that
