PS if you're wondering why Hogan is playing Santa next week and not Foley, it isn't out of spite. Foley wrote a recent post mentioning that WWE had asked if he could appear next week, but he has a prior commitment keeping him off the show.
I mean, they already had him playing Santa in the past few weeks. But that explains it.
And Hulk as Santa could be fun.
So what you're saying is that you're looking forward to a showing of...
Santa with muscles?

I haven't watched since August 2014 (when my son was born). Any suggestions on a good way to get an overview of what I missed? Any ppvs worth checking out?
I'm pretty sure that Redheaded Rosebud was a Bruce Timm drawing come to life
I need a picture of this STAT
I don't have a way to get screen shots and didn't record it or anything. Also I don't want to seem like a creepy stalker dude that dwells on it too long. I'm not saying you are, just that if I were to keep talking about it I'd feel weird about it.
I just had a dream where, in the middle of a show, I got chosen by random ticket number to drop a few lines about my thoughts on the return of Sting, in one of those little backstage promo things they display on the titantron
The problem was, the piece of paper I got with my lines was written in the most incomprehensible chicken scratch by Vince, and what I could make out of the lines was the most garbage script possible. Like, I'd have an easier time summoning an elder god than making this script sound good, and I've acted on stage multiple times
Not only that, but my stack of script began exponentially growing every time I looked at it, because Vince kept on editing things last minute
So finally, at the last minute, I walk up to John Cena, because I hear he's a stand-up guy, and ask him for advice on making my lines work
And he pretty much says "look, they're always that awful, so we just improvise on the script to make it work, and Vince never remembers what exactly he wrote anyways" then walks away with a quick u/c me gesture
In an attempt to boost eyeballs on the go-home show for the Royal Rumble, which takes place on 1/19, WWE will be doing a show called "Raw Reunion."
Announces already as appearing on the show are Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, plus a 30-man Lumberjack match with John Cena vs. Seth Rollins.
An interesting note is that in the release for the show, Brock Lesnar's name was not listed. Previously, Lesnar had been advertised for that date.

Is it me, or do they have too much reunion shows?
Kinda but those guests do make logical sense in terms of them having strong connections to the Rumble.
I don't see how it's hard to believe Roman could win that legit.
I didn't expect him to win for the same reason I wouldn't have expected D-Bry to win because he hasn't wrestled for half the year and it's easier to remember recent awesome matches and promos by Rollins and Ambrose. And of course Cena's always really popular.
The company's rigged votes before, but I absolutely believe that the majority of the audience is really that dumb that the Reigns vote was legit.
Sweeney it's perfectly fine you not liking him but that's still a pretty shitty thing to say.
Nah, to be honest them loving Reigns over all the other options (even the ones he spent more time on the shelf than) wouldn't even be in the top 5 dumb things the audience has done just this year

Also Billy Gunn.
That was just stupid though.

This is an incredibly minor wrestling-related spoiler from it.

Royal Rumbe.
Roman eliminates:
A. Some of them.
B. Most of them.
C. All of them.
Bonus: Breaks the old record in the process that he set last year?

It's in there. I'm not a creep!
To be fair, they also used that descriptor for Billy Gunn at one point.
EDIT: And now I see that's already been covered.

and now I'm a Rusev fan
A, and I doubt he breaks the record

Also I edited my picks a bit since [R]Evolution was fucking awesome.

Yeah, I need to change some of my picks as well, though I might keep them the same so we have more nominees when voting season comes around.
Huh.

Well, I say it wasn't.
Clearly, we are at an impasse.

Except Hall.
Sorry Randle, those two are the generals of the IWC and you're just a sergeant.
Course, I'm a private still in boot camp.

It surprised me honestly. But he has the casuals supporting him and until the smarks outnumber the marks that's how it's going to be.
But seriously, there are much, much worse choices for the next big thing than Reigns.
