Is anyone else havin a problem with it not letting you play?

I bought the orange box over steam and I preloaded it like 4 days ago, and it says I have 0 time left to wait, but it wont play. I just says its unreleased.

on Steam's website, it says that Portal is 20 bucks stand alone.

sounds good to me. unless the game is short.

It is very very short by appearances

Had it unlocked for 1h45m and I'm on the last test which will, at a guess, take about half an hour

But then there are bonus levels and challenges, and achievements and the inevitable custom maps soooo

I wouldn't pay $20 for it but I would pay $45 for it, TF2, and ep2 (well $50 now I guess)

I don't know if it has one now but the only reason it wouldn't have one sooner or later would be that gabe newell was replaced by his evil twin brother llewen ebag or something

Well I just got the dual portal-gun.

I'm stuck in a room with... well there's a set of stairs off to the left, that lead to a small but empty room. Then in front of me the floor is made out of that black, un-portal-able material except for the very end, which is then followed by a glass wall with a forcefield on top. Behind the glass wall is another puzzle room, with an energy ball launcher.

Not sure if anyone can tell where that is. Doesn't seem to have a number.

EP1 was fucking awesome man. Sure it was short, but it was just 20$. Plus, you now get EP1 AND 2, Portal and TF2 for the price of one regular game.
Me, for even less, because the dollar is so deliciously weak compared to the euro <3

yeah just beat it.. it was short but fun. I am going to find the song from the end because it was pretty great.

Also there is an easter egg in the game if you pay close enough attention.

It is froth-worthy thinking of how they are going to use the portal gun in future half-life games. Or whatever mods people manage to make for this thing. If they can. The game itself was pretty fun and wacky. Nice puzzle stuff. Definitely worth getting the orange box for. But I would not have bought it for $20 on its own I think.. well I might have, but I would not have felt awesome about it.
