hm, both of the targets nearest me are getting 24 jigglys, if I'm reading that inventory tracker right. There might actually be enough left for me to casually pick one up when I go [try to] grab Splatoon tomorrow afternoon.
This Target is getting 4 Warios and 4 Pacmen and 16 JayPuffs. I don't like those odds but my other Target choice is only getting a few more of each and is the only Target in a city of 200k.
am I Part of the Problem because I'm considering buying a Jigglypuff, a figure I have no interest in, purely for purposes of trading it for others later

So is Target limiting 2 amiibo per customer, or is it 2 of each character per customer? Cause I was gonna ask her to grab a Pac-man too if she can get 3 total.

So a week ago, Walmart.ca did their amiibo preorder event. I wouldn't say it was a clusterfuck, but they didn't go up until like 40 minutes after they said they would. I managed to spot and order Robin and Lucina without a hitch, but instantly got a backorder notice, and ultimately they all lasted barely 2 minutes (except for Pac-man... poor dude is still up everywhere...). Amiibo business as usual. I didn't have high hopes to begin with. The backorder email says the order will be canceled in 28 days if they can't fulfill it, yada yada yada.
Few minutes ago, I get an email.
They... shipped?!

I dropped by the two nearest Wal-Marts and neither of them could tell me where their amiibo were or if they had any. One of the stores said that there was a manager looking for them, because they were lost.
There weren't any other people standing around for them either, so I'll probably try my luck again around midnight.
Welp, guess I'm all in on 3:30-4pm at amazon for Lucina . At least this Charizard I bought on a total whim looks cool. Saw the Silver Mario, Wario and Jigglypuff and was not impressed, so went with Splatoon 3 pack since the squid looks neat, and Charizard.

I went to my local Target, got there at 7:59 (one minute before they open their doors), and there were already at least 2 dozen people standing in line. I never even bothered to park my car, and just went to work instead. I wanted a Splatoon 3 pack, but I'll never want any amiibo that much.
I tried another 24 hour Wal-mart on the way to work this morning and they did not receive any amiibo either. The manager I spoke to said she thought they may have received a box with 4 in it, but she couldn't locate it.
I went ahead and ordered Splatoon Girl from Play Asia and I'll camp out on my F5 key at amazon later.
I don't want to give scalpers any money, but I'd really like to get the FE characters and the Splatoon 3-pack.
