January is bullshit and making me cry. Why did every single company decide to put out their JRPG or Weeb game all in the same damn month!?
Fate/Extella
Yakuza 0
Digimon: World Order
Tales of Berseria
Kingdom Hearts 2.8
Atelier Shallie Plus
Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers
Nioh
Dragon Quest VIII 3DS
(Gravity Rush 2)
(Resident EVII)
Then the English release that I'm personally aware off right afterwards...
Febuary:
Super Robot Wars V (Asian English)
March:
Nier: Automata
Atelier Firis
Demon Gaze II (Asian English)
Akiba's Beat
Summon Night 6
(The PS4 collection of KH1.5 & 2.5)
Then later in the year we'll still have Trails in the Sky: The 3rd, Tokyo Xanadu, Ys VIII, Persona 5, Ni no Kuni II, Mary Skelter, etc.
2017 is, without question, going to be a year of the JRPG. But holy fuck is January overstacked to wallet-mass-murdering amounts.
The whole first quarter of the year is a mess with things to play.
Pure insanity. I'm both excited at the prospect of good games and angry that I have to make choices.
It feels like it's literally a year's worth of JRPGs dropped in 3 months.
If I have to look on the bright side I guess the good thing with all these games is that they will overflow and fill in the usual dryspells later in year.
I still don't know how to pick what gets put on hold though.
I've never been a backlog person.
The prospect of not playing things I'm excited for when they release makes me uneasy!
As much as it hurts, my must play ASAPs are Fate/Extella, Yakuza 0 , and Nier: Automata. Everything else sadly gets pushed back. Even my beloved Atelier and how hype I am for an English Super Robot Wars.
Though I will probably play the Aqua Chapter of KH2.8 right away depending on how long it is.

Yea I'm gonna do 2.8 first as well due to it being short. Can probably knock it out in a day without missing anything.
Then it'll be Tales then Nier. That much I'm fairly certain of.
The KH 1.5 and 2.5 versions for PS4 are still on track for March, right? I don't think I'll pick up 2.8 until I grab those.
Which is incredibly lazy of me. I already own the PS3 versions. And the original PS2 versions of 1 and 2 for that matter. But I'd rather pay $50 for a new copy than hunt through my storage unit for all the old system cords and controllers and shit.

Went through this Granblue event, farmed up enough currency to buy all three Damascus Crystals and four Wind Swords
Only ever saw one SSR weapon drop, what garbage-ass drop rates
I kind of wanted to MLB both one sword and one spear for main weapon purposes, but I was kind of counting on getting at least a couple drops to help that along
I can't seem to find the link, but I remember there being a guide that listed things you should do every day in Granblue. Most of which I have been ignoring, but there was something about buying more stamina/bp refilling items. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Or other things I'm forgetting to do?

I'm almost certain that I'm going through these things just slightly underleveled but juuuust high enough to where I can beat them. Which is making the boss fights super fun and intense, but the regular fights kind of a drag.
I really really like the characters and how the format of the game helps to give them all a ton of backstory and development.
Overall, game is great and I totally see why everyone loves it so much now. Super looking forward to April.
Goddamn Yuisis is just annihilating the Extreme mode of this SS boss. Wind team in general is doing good but when she sets up her Attacker mode 1, 2, wait, Ougi chain she releases about a million damage and tends to kill the boss instantly. Korwa feeds her DA/TA to help get that charge meter going. Not sure what Rosetta is doing though. Is Rose Barrier meant for anything?

Oh I'll be buying them all they day they come out regardless of when I plan on playing them.
Amazon just full of dem pre-orders.
And to think, I'm going to skip* almost all of them to play classic Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy games!
(Playing them, I mean; still gonna buy a lot of these to place atop my ever-growing mountain of unplayed jurps.)

No anime.

Dope footage of a Xenoblade game we won't get for many years and a vague announcement of an SMT game that doesn't exist yet
Wii U never had anything as cool-looking as Project Octopath though
// Switch: SW-5306-0651-6424 //
It would be cool if it did! But like, that footage looked pretty rough. A delay would not surprise me.
Her summon effect also is actually kind of great when it sticks
Now to grind the collab specials forever for Nak.
I don't mind this so long as there's no romance. Pure action with a young at heart protag can be done.
Oh yea, it's just a preference thing.
I prefer games with romance. And dislike playing as a child.
So that's just 2 negative notes for me right off that bat that limits how much I'd actually be able to enjoy the game.
I'd be going in knowing I wouldn't get completely pulled into the characters and story.
// Switch: SW-5306-0651-6424 //
Especially since Wind doesn't even use an Unknown in its standard grid and they got a better Unknown.
The plus side is that it seems like a pretty okay main weapon for Swordmaster.
I thought that game was just about wrapping up
BUT WAIT
Now you're a cool space rebel who's just wrecking fleets left and right
I guess I should have been more direct: Someone teach me how to play Infinite Space! :C
But man, that trophy list
The Gbf raid finder guy was on Reddit saying that this change has made things far worse for anyone trying to do much as touch Tiamat or Ygg.
Casino has them for sale.
So I just finished off the second dungeon.
