The straw design I was mentally sketching out between the problem statement and the S.T.R.A.W. reveal was just mixing the bloody shake before you put the cream on top.

    No, I don't think so.

The whole premise is that he's a beginner, and he's trying to keep up with a world-renowned specialist at something fairly complex.

The video is functionally the same as having a fresh new apprentice bicycle mechanic and an experienced Formula 1 technician rebuild an engine from scratch in about an hour.

how would anyone think that what he was doing with the peppers was finely chopped though? Those pieces were huge!

I'm thinking mild panic and not having time to chop them further as Ramsay was already on to the next step

so fuck it good enough, better to have the pieces too big than to miss the next thing entirely

Also poor crab guy put it the wrong way round based on "flat side down" and it just kept going from there. Crabs are pretty flat. Legs or colors would have been a better choice but eh, it was cute.

This so much. It is still really a thing where I live for teenage and young woman to refer to their father's as daddy and it creeps me right the fuck out.

I get that, and Julienne can mean nothing at all, but ramsay said "chop. The secret of these peppers is to make sure it's small dicing." "What do you consider small?" "I would say half a centimetre". "The secret is to make sure that they almost disappear when they cook, so make sure that they're not big".

I think there was a mix of some of the guy playing dumb but mostly the guy actually not knowing what he was doing in the video.

I think I'm a pretty good cook, but I've never learned how to chop properly. Like, I can get things real small if you want them, but you better give me fifteen minutes and a podcast to listen to.

So, after several months of picure/video/audio editing, going back and forth with actors, and making a lot of creative decisions, this video.... is done.

Ooof. This is the most work I've ever spent on a single video before. I'm very proud of how it came out.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfXr6DoNEvs

hey, i don't know anything about this comic or whatever, and don't really watch this sort of thing, but that was alright!

    Thank you!

This and the last video in the series is my first real experience in doing a big group project. It's been a LOT of work, but it's been really satisfying.

It's also my first time working as a director, and going back and forth with an entire group of voice actors/actresses.

I feel like this is going to be a very good thing for me overall, regardless of how well received the videos are.

Though it'd be nice if the videos did pretty well, too. :P

I'm not monetizing them for right now, but I'm deliberately using royalty-free music and such, so I don't have to worry about being hit with copyright strikes or any other stupid barriers if I wish to go that route. Though I'll have to clear that with the other cast members before doing that, I think. It'd be kinda skeezy to start making money off of it without talking to them, first.

Not that I'd likely make more than a few pennies off of anything on my channel. The first chapter hasn't even hit 1k views since it went up last June. Only original vid I ever made that actually blew up at all was that homestuck song parody Tynic and I recorded back in 2010, and even that was pretty modest compared to what's considered viral nowadays.

Minor tangent, but it's a pet peeve of mine:

He did that irritating thing some people like do when they're trying to teach a lesson.

The "fill in the blank with the specific word I'm thinking of" thing.

"Listen to what I'm doing here. What am I doing? What is this sound?"

and it just goes on and on and on as he waits for someone to come up with "tapping".

I hate that shit. Nobody there is a fucking mind-reader, guy. Everybody sees what you are doing. They've described it multiple times. The fact that they haven't used your specific verbiage is not cause keep asking.

Why can't these geese ever just take some fucking accountability and responsibility?

He would also have to start addressing that his actions of anti-Semitic jokes are bringing him quite the defense and praise from not great individuals who are mingling with his current viewer base, also that hes being thought of and used by said groups as propaganda for youths

And his deflection even if he doesn't realize it is making his fans mistrust reporting on his actions and "fuck the MSM"

Honestly he should really REALLY look at the reaction from terrible groups agreeing with his jokes and take a step back and wonder why they are agreeing with him and if he wants them as fans.
