We're about a third of the way through the NHL season, and it's high time we talked about it.

At this point, who do you think is going to the playoffs?

    One of my roommates was really interested in attending that Pitt-Buffalo game till we saw the ticket prices. Man, fuck that.

    That was for a season. After they realised no one cared that they were gone they reached an agreement to try and win back the hearts of the fans.

    I didn't even care they were back. It was by far the most exciting thing to happen in hockey for me.

    It's that wonderful cicular argument: If it got better ratings, we'd show it more, and if we showed it more it might get better ratings.

    People in the U.S. don't like to watch hockey because you have to pay attention... just like soccer.
