Your five hour AV is fail. We've had ones back on my original server before I quit the first time we had one go for 20+ hours if I'm not mistaken. It had been going all day, I joined played went to bed and it was still going when I got up.
It might have been 16 or so.

Best 2v2 Arena team ever was me and this other holy paladin. We just out manaed everyone else. We only ever did prac battles, but it was so much fun, we had one go from something like 1:15 am - 2 am. It was EPIC. All we did was spam flash heals and auto attack the other guys. All blessing of wisdomed with huge mp5 we never ran out of mana
I meant to say "bind on pickup" because everything thats BoE and blue is assbleedingly expensive unless its crafted, and there's no blue patterns for leather chestpieces until lvl 45, and by that time I'll be in mail.

So don't buy them, run the appropriate instances.
This is my point there is nothing to be gained in these appropriate instances for my chest slot. I mean I just find it kinda odd that there's not a single quest reward or instance drop or crafted blue in between lvl 18 and lvl 45
