honestly i only really have fun playing with people i kind-of know (in an internet way) even though my ping is terrible on the pa servers
shooting some ordinary chum with a tired australian accent just isn't as fun. reminds me too much of my own sad state

There is one pub sever that I have favourited, that is all Battle Creek, all the time. When I come back to it after a week or more of not playing, I notice that strategies people have learned from playing against me before, pretty basic stuff like putting an SG near the flag (which is also where the spawn point is) to stop the pyro from coming in an ruining everyones shit, have since been unlearned. Now, I could write this kind of thing off as "it's a pub server, not everyone is the same as the last time I played", but this is a server that has no rotation, just Battle Creek, and it's been up for a while now.
People are stupid, and this is one of the reasons I keep going back to that server.
Also, FireFox seems to be telling me that 'learned' and 'unlearned' are, in fact, not words.
