The crazy thing? That picture is real! That thar be lonesome George the tortoise, who is unfortunately the last of his particular species, though scientists are trying to get him to breed with a tortoise female of a different species. The tortoise on his head (a tiny "star tortoise") is not one of the candidates.
My friends have been very antisocial lately, and I sorta have been too. I spent last night out with some of them, but today I only called one person and thought that no one had called me, which was fine with me. I just glanced at my phone and saw that three different people had called during dinner, which was about five hours ago, including one person that I really wanted to see.
For some reason, the knowledge that I had been called, and missed the calls, is a lot more depressing to me than having not been called.
I am sad now.
Anyway, I am almost finished with this story. I won't be posting it all at once, though. Should I make a thread for it, or hold onto it forever and never show it to anyone?
