Halo is shit and has done fuck all to really push games forward, except to get extra consoles in frat boy's rooms.
however as long as both consoles pull in fairly good numbers, it is gamers who win as competition ensures both companies can't rest on their laurels.
and also: i hope this bundle comes to the EU regions D: I already have one of those eu 60gigs but I know people who were waiting for this to happen.

If you're over the age of about 13 and/or don't frequent the GameFAQs forums there are certain things you just shouldn't get all worked up into a nerdrage over. Console "wars" are right at the fucking top of that list my friends...
Only thing about this I will say is that I have a beefy gaming PC that I like to keep up to date and it seems like all the good Xbox games come out for Windows eventually... so I stuck with the Playstation as a console. Plus I wanted a Blu-ray player... Honestly if I had more money and thought I would actually use it, I'd buy a 360 and a Wii too probably.
HL2 is seriously my favourite FPS game ever.

having said that, STALKER (minus the bugs) is making a serious run at the top spot.
Splinter Cell is better than MGS.

Splinter Cell 1 was good, the rest are throwaway Ubisoft games.
