I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who thinks that Will Ferrell sucks for doing the same thing for years. The only things he deserves credit for are SNL and Stranger Than Fiction. SNL because it was original and funny back then, Stranger Than Fiction because it wasn't the same thoughtless shit that he has been doing out for the past few decades.
Someone said something about Adam Sandler digressing from his typical role... I really respect Sandler for stuff like Spanglish and Reign Over Me. Spanglish is seriously one underrated movie, and Sandler was excellent in it.
I would love to see a Ferrell movie that actually had depth like Spanglish. It would probably be excellent. But, alas, like Geebs said, people would be like "Why isn't he running around with his pants off?!'

Stranger than Fiction was a fuck-tastic movie. It was hilarious, moving, and a good example of Magical Realism that is tons of fun that nobody uses any more because all the people who used it in their writing were communist nutbags.
