    Okay, a typo is fine

    It just baffles/annoys me when people misspell common names

    I had a friend telling me what she'd name her son once and she listed 5 or 6 names and misspelt four of them and, well, I really hope she learns to spell them before she has children

    But why call him Joeseph when Joseph exists and is commonly accepted by everyone and you know that everytime someone asks what your name is you are going to have to say, 'Joeseph and it's with an extra e'

    It's bad enough with names that have two common spelling variations, like Steven/Stephen and Rachel/Rachael
