Star Fox 64 was one of my fondest gaming memories. It came out before me and my friend had an N64 so I remember us walking across the neighborhood to another kid's house that had one, along with Star Fox. He was like 3 years younger than us and sometimes annoying but we really wanted to play Star Fox.
We did that nearly every week day for a few weeks.
I am still at 50% SSE so I haven't had a chance to play with all the unlockable characters, I still don't play enough to have a character I am better than normal with.
So... you're not playing with a classic controller, you're not playing with a GC controller... how the hell can you enjoy Brawl?
Yeah, same as any other cheap person who can't be assed paying a full $30 for a WaveBird (assuming one can be found) and hates corded controllers with vehement passion. Wiimote and Nunchuk are great.
But that is why they give you choices, if someone likes it it is their choice.
Yeah, sure, they can have their choice and like it. I just dislike their choice if they choose the solo remote. Everybody with a Wii has at least one remote and one nunchuk, so choosing to use only the remote for single player is completely retarded in my opinion. Multiplayer is a different animal though. I like to assume that everybody who plays Brawl has at least one spare remote+nunchuk and/or GC controllers, or at least a friend who can bring their own controller, but hey, that assumption is a little out of my hands.

there is that move where he sorta flys into the background and does some massive explosion. How do you dodge this, I can get to him with great regularity on very hard but this damn move keeps KOing when I am at 40% health with Toon Link. Tips?

I hate Fox and Falco, so it's a little weird that I love Wolf so much.

My only complaint is that the cord comes out of the bottom, which is just weird.

Classic controller works great. You just have to get used to the thing, cause it's small and thin and feels way different than The wavbird/GGC.
