This is one of my top ten shows of all time. I watch the dvds pretty constantly. The commentaries are hilarious. Now if they would just bring back clone high...

I didn't even know what the fuck and avitar was until about 5 minutes ago.
I actually really liked Vegeta's original voice. It was his Namek saga voice that was terrible. Most of the voice work done around the time when Goku got to Namek was ridiculously bad for like a span of 15 episodes.
It really really was.
I thought the cast was all pretty good until right after Goku showed up on Namek, and the show changed hands.
I have the 10 minute season 3 preview but im not sure if i want to watch it.
On the one hand it only has dialog without the sound effects or music... on the other it's the fucking Venture brothers.
Anyone else seen it? Is it still great beyond reckoning or will it just have spoiled the jokes for me when i see the real deal?
I never really gave a shit about the Venture Bros (never watched an episode) until somebody linked me the famous "straight talking" section from the Season 1 Finale with the Monarch explaining crime to a bunch of punk kids in prison.

Same here I'm amazed how many people have never even heard of it. I guess its the cartoons are for kids shit even though every fucking guy quotes Family Guy CONSTANTLY.

And I thought it was going to be just Brock and probably someone else exactly like Brock
And they would be the Venture Bros.
And I figured it would suck.
Boy was I wrong
The whole intro to the second episode in season 2 (right after The Monarch has broken out of jail and calls up 21 and 24... with the whole dum duming of Mars) is just about the greatest thing ever.
That's honestly one of my favourite moments in the series.
Venture Bros is one of the only shows where I even enjoy the directors commentary. They usually have a different one on the website each week, and they're awesome. Totally looking foreward to the new season.

I could be wrong, but I think that technically they got greenlit for 2 more seasons, 13 episodes each.
Still means 26 episodes though so whatever.
Seasons 3 and 4 are playing back to back because of the long delay between 2 and 3, and (I'll have to check I'm not 100%) they already have season 5 in the works but nothing is official just yet on that.
It will be like a double sized season but its techincally 2.
