Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
Hopefully what's being reflected there is the start of the healing process.
Takin' it to the limit!
I really see those lines as a Mario Kart race... and Hillary is finally spinning off into oblivion. So we can get on with electing a Democratic candidate already and I can watch McCain flounder about.
You just suggested the possibility of a blue shell.
The desire to deprive some of our citizens of their rights—economic, civic or political—has the same basic motivation as actuates the Fascist mind when it seeks to dominate whole peoples and nations.
So, shall we start a discussion of who we want to be veep, then start a draft website, and start emailing delegates? Because there's a second vote at the convention, that being for veep.
Change the topic title to Fear and Loathing on the campaign trail '08
We can keep this all through the Gen election
Or maybe use that for the Gen election

Good idea. Who has teh list again?
Whatever. I'm telling Kennedy to float William Fallon.

MTVCDM. And you'd probably want to wait until Kennedy isn't sober to try and impress ideas on him. Right now he's just taking a few pills in a hospital bed. Dude might as well be at Betty Ford.

I'm down for trying to come up with who we think would be the best fit, but more as a guessing game than as actually trying to sell it. Obama's savvy enough to make the right choice, if for no reason than the fact he'll have vastly better information.
I think we can all likely discount Clinton, because she's crossed the line in terms of what you can say and still get on the ticket. And maybe it's just lingering bitterness, but I'm not happy about the idea of a Clinton surrogate either, I think this administration is going to need to function like a well oiled machine and internal politicing for the next 8 years isn't worth the boost now.

Yeah, but Frank's endorsed Clinton.
Would it be in bad taste to say he's gay for Hillary?

Most gays are gay for Hillary. Which doesn't make any sense given DADT and DOMA. Is she the political equivalent to a fag hag?

It took me two minutes to figure out what you were saying here. Bravo.
I wonder if there will be any Clinton water carriers on the Sunday talk show circuit June 1st after the Rules and Bylaws committee make their decision. And if there are, if they'll say anything beyond just repeating 'let's let the last two contests make their voices heard.'

Obama addressed some issues of serious concern not only to the 12,100-member Crow Nation but to many Native American tribes around the country.
I had no idea there were that many Natives still living here.
What other country would Native Americans be living in?
There are still fairly large populations for some tribes. 250k Navajo, 300+k Cherokee. Of course, unless they run casinos or have favorable mineral rights in their reservation, they are generally dirt poor. It pretty depressing if you read up about some of it. There were diaries on DKos about a Native American women's shelter that they pretty much paid to keep going.
Strong Bad is obviously Barack Obama. Fhqwhgads is clearly John McCain. The Cheet is... uh... John Edwards? David Axelrod?
Right, right, substantive... uh...
Jim Webb is supposedly going on Letterman tonight. I saw him on Meet the Press and he was pretty clear that he wasn't really down with the VP nod. Wonder what he'll have to say... I won't know, because I'm going to bed, dammit.

ummm...Canada?
edit: and the rest of the Americas?
Yeah, you know, most of the western hemisphere?
Being part Native American myself, I think this is awesome. Seriously, it's almost making me tear up to think that a President might actually give a damn about the reservations.

Western Hemisphere includes parts of Europe and Africa.
I haven't been paying attention to Kentucky, so I don't know what the margins will be there. But I'm thinking that Obama's got at least a margin in the teens in Oregon.
Webb is also doing quite the media blitz more so than your usual freshman Senator with a new book. Unless that Senator is famous for giving an awesome speech at the convention and is contemplating running for something national.
I think Jim might be playing coy a little, though I'd prefer he not get the nomination for reasons of Virginia.
My cousin made this game: Gem Pop. It's legitimately fun, particularly for people who enjoy Bejewled, Dr. Mario, Tetris, etc. kinds of games. Only two bucks! If you try it out, PM me with what you think of it.

I wonder if Paul Simon's influence on Dick Durbin and Dick Durbin's influence on Obama has anything to do with giving a damn for Indian Affairs.

Clark, Webb, Sebelius, myself, Richardson.
Ignore the pessimist at the bottom.

He's a Crow
She's not a woman.
Haven't you heard: she has three balls.
Now why would he say something like that? To fire up the feministas for one last gasp?
EDIT: Ferraro just got her own digs in.
