Okay, so, back in high school I fancied myself a screenwriter. God, I sucked. Anyway, that's beside the point.
I wrote six scripts. Involving me. And my friends. Going on adventures.
It was called "The Adventurers."
Yes, terribly original. Anyway, I recently posted the first episode
here and people seemed to enjoy how horrible it was.
That being said, I decided hey, let's make a radio play out of it!
CAST FOR EPISODE 1:
Mike McCovey: The Lovely Bastard
Alan Gordon: Poorochondriac
Andrew Sunset: Anjin-San
Roger Maro: Shorty
Narrator: Janson
So, SE++, let's get this trainwreck a rollin'.
If you didn't get in the first episode, worry not, because I have five more and if this does well enough we shall surely continue it.

As for the narrator...I am also down if Andrew don't work.
I haven't even read the material, I just wanna do skits and stuff again finally.
Also, I can't wait to drunkenly slur "NO! We cast wild magic on it!"
As long as it fits into the script. Which is to say, anything goes because this script is ass.
also: narration needs serious retooling as it is in screenplay form
my name is Andrew, too
daangg
ohhhhh goddddddddd
I don't have a mic, like I said, just a digital tape recorder that I can rip to the computer soo..no vent
Hmm, how easy would it be to record on vent?
Also there are certainly a few parts that would require a lot of us to be talking at once.
epic
if you ever get on vent earlier in the day, i can give you a good idea of my voice
i can do narration and have done readings of forumer erotic fan fiction kevar wrote on many occasions
i sound like a young grandpa who has smoked pot once or twice
When I get home from work I'll find some way of sending you a clip of my voice.
I think it would be better left as is, personally.
kpop appreciation station i also like to tweet some
the best way to understand what i'm saying is to read the screenplay aloud
fuck you man
once I lose myself in the character
who knows what I'll say?
also my girlfriend would put down her knitting and leave me forever
"Hey guys I can do this! What can YOU do?"
"I can take the form of a shadow!"
I find it to be laggy, anyway, but maybe I just have a very shitty connection
also Janson it would be funny if you were a blase narrator who hates her job and it shows
Also, how would we handle filenames, anyway? I mean if we're going to piece this together from different audio clips, how would we ensure that they can be easily arranged sequentially?
Or maybe we'd just do something like "Okay, everyone send lines from page 1 today and it'll be edited together" and go from there?
And I feel it actually helps the story out if my enthusiasm and stubbornness is of the drunken variety.
that sure worked out well
Yeah, I think Alan is probably the most fleshed-out character. Which is kind of like saying a hooker with AIDS is better than a hooker with syphilis and AIDS, but hey.
