Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
So...I'm just gonna go ahead and make a new [chat]
I have loads of photos from the couple of times I've been over but I thought I'd try and get some slightly different ones this time...maybe with my laptop in them showing the PA forums or something...
Day 3 of tracing cables through my datacenter....I have forgotten what sunlight is like...my nose is frostbitten from the constant chilled air pumped out by our air conditioner units...I have a rubber film coating on the tips my fingers from running them along countless miles of cable...
jeez...so much for the glamor of working in the banking biz.
edit. with the obvious abuse of ellipses, my storytelling has taken on a William Shattner-esque narrative.

Well, I'm rather glad I'm just using sugar solution today rather than the dangerous chemicals. I cracked a capillary tube and managed to cut one of my fingers. Very annoying. Worst, that I think I may have scratched my objective lens
Well shit, that's what I get for venturing into the "Stuff that makes you cry" thread.
A really soggy tissue, that's what.
"I believe in evidence. I believe in observation, measurement, and reasoning, confirmed by independent observers. I'll believe anything, no matter how wild and ridiculous, if there is evidence for it."
"Those people who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do."
I hold a really strange belief that any stories I hear about people doing stupid/horrible/abominable things are representative of a minority of humanity.
Thus I am able to maintain a basic faith in humanity unaffected by hearing about that one dude who drowned his kids for Jesus or something like that.
I'll go check out the questions thread though.

slowly reading this book 'easy riders, raging bulls' about movie studios and production in the late 60s and 70s so it seems only right I actually finish this.
Ah, ok, a radio station. I don't have anything Satellite... powered.
it's a radio service of like 100 stations. they say it's commercial free, most channels are but some have like identification things or short talk bits that SUCK.
c an't complain too much though because I only hear it at work and I could have nothing at all to listen to.

There. Officialized.
That date's out of date, though.
My parents have lived there for the past four years. I go out once a year to see them as they don't get over to the UK that much.
Also, this year one of my best friends is coming out for a week while I'm there so I get to do all the tourist stuff without feeling a little stupid!
like this?
Really? That's how it was for me, at first. Then when I refreshed it I saw this.
So I waited for you to make the [chat].
Morning. Nice photo.
as usual, the actual video isn't recommended.
