The few matches of Serie A I've had a chance to watch I've liked, but unfortunately US programming is terrible for anything not MLS, EPL, or US Men's. I'd have to break down and order GolTV to see much more.

You can watch Serie A on ESPN 360 for free. I tend not to because Chelsea doesn't play in Serie A (although they've got Ranieri and Mourinho.)

Pretty cartwheel, but the tackle itself wasn't particularly bad. No studs raised, clearly making an attempt at the ball and not denying a clear goalscoring oppurtunity (being so far out, and not the last man).

    Yellow card.
I've seen players not even booked for them in the premiership :P

All this talk has reminded me how Chelsea was a PK away from winning the CL. And lost it. It's like when we sucked and beat Barca in the CL at home by like a billion goals and then Romario scored a zillion on the second leg. Or Monaco. Best CL goal ever though was JT scoring against Barca to get a shot at a shitty Liverpool side we ended up losing to (and who ended up being not so shitty).

No one cares about Chelsea's 'problems'. Stop bringing them up.

Wah, wah we haven't won anything significant in the last 12 months oh woe is us!

If you weren't all glory supporters you wouldn't need constant trophies to reassure you that you chose the bestest team to support, and deal with it like the rest of us do.

(This video of Liverpool v. Barca was the game that made me decide to follow Liverpool)

I mean, for real. They come back in so many situations where they really shouldn't, and that is AWESOME. And to beat Barcelona? That's no easy task.

P.S.: Pants, <3 for the lack of Christiano Ronaldo pictures on the OP.

That's the first video that I posted. I wish I had been watching that game.

And Bear, what are you talking about? Did Liverpool actually decide to do that? Or did they just happen to lose?

Let me open up here and say this:
I would say that Manchester United is a better team than Liverpool. But seriously, it seems like EVERYBODY likes ManU that I'd rather support someone else... it makes it more fun that way. I think Chelsea just buys talent way too much.

I also really enjoy Arsenal... they're my second favorite club... beautiful football. Anyways, I think I digress a little bit, and for that I apologize.

Australia is largely full of Liverpool supporters. It sucks so bad.

Edit: The Chelsea fans here are pretty cool, most of them are actually from London, or at least been following them for a long time before Abramovich. There's a few though that are fucking clueless.

My ManU secondary fandom is grounded in the serious hate I always had in my heart for Bayern. 1999 for ever. Nevermind that I actually fell asleep at the 80th minute of the final. I wasn't used to physical labor.

Yeah, I know... and I'm not trying to be like "YOUR TEAM SUCKS!"

I'm just trying to have a good conversation about different clubs and national teams, since I have a pretty objective view of everything. Because I didn't get into soccer until the 2006 World Cup, I can basically just watch teams and choose what I like without having any family or birthplace bias.

Why do you suppose that Australia has a lot of Liverpool supporters, but everywhere else is mostly ManU?

One thing I've noticed is most of the guys who grew up in the 80s (or with older brothers/cousins who grew up then) end up supporting Liverpool cause they where the ones winning back then, whereas most of the 90s guys end up going for Man U cause they where winning.
As for me I grew up on serie A (baggio <3 ), but there's nowhere near as much Serie A on here compared to premier league, so I ended up supporting Chelsea cause they had the Italian players (Though admittedly just before we became Chelski).

I don't post much, but I would like to add that in justin.tv some games can be seen.

I'm from Mexico and yesterday Sven-Goran Eriksson and Rafeal Márquez had a talk of the national team. While playing a golf game. Unusual.

One cool thing about our leagueis that a team, Jaguares, is trying to sign Danilinho from Atlético Mineiro. They are young team (Jaguares) in the first division but they are making good choices picking foreign players. Here's a video of the player:

I wonder how Sven is going to mix things up vis the USA rivalry. Frankly I think Sven has a lot more experience than Bradley. I think the USA has a lot of potential talent but most of it goes into other sports. Things could get interesting if SGE can find a way to beat the USA in the USA (which is our one advantage--more money playing here).

Luton will start next season on an unprecedented minus 30 points after a ruling by the Football League.

The Hatters had already been deducted 10 points by the Football Association after being found guilty of misconduct for paying agents via a third party.

And the company which will take over the club has now been told it must accept a further 20-point deduction in order to be allowed in the League.

The penalty came after Luton failed to satisfy the League's insolvency rules.

The combined 30-point deduction is the biggest in Football League history, giving Luton an extraordinarily difficult task in trying to avoid relegation for the third season in a row. Bookmakers have already made them 10-1 on favourites to drop down to the Blue Square Premier League.
