Hirai's really arrogant and all, so I've gotta give it to the author of the letter for pointing that out. Sadly, I'm sure Hirai gets hatemail all the time, half of it from me. All my letters, unlike this open letter, always end up saying:
"OMG HIRAI UR ON SUM WACKY WEED! J00 HAV ROOINED A WUNDERFUL FRANCHIZE WIT UR GODDAMN PS3 I HATEZ J00 GOODBYE!"
Anyway, check out the letter. Perhaps all of us put off by the PS3 can find some solice in knowing we have allies...allies in Germany.

A well-written and concise letter though. It won't change anything, but I would love to see a rebuttal to it from him.

Yeah, it needs to be updated to mention how Sony completely botched the PS3 launch. And there needs to be more mockery. A lot more mockery. Like..."do you understand that your system was beaten by a cheap little thing called the Wii? It has the silliest name imaginable, and it's outselling your pride and joy. How does that feel?"
If this was GameFaqs and I was fourteen years old, I would completely agree with you. The problem is, mockery doesn't bode well when you're trying to publish a professional letter. It just makes you sound like the aforementioned fourteen year old. Luckily, DCS is made up of people who don't fit that mold.
