I hear they're pretty ham-fisted about that sort of thing.
Could you not ham it up, please?

Sounds like someone I could get along with.

he's actually a pretty cool and mild-mannered person for the most part

I can understand not liking some food, but hating one so much you go into a rage and throw the food at someone who didn't even make it

the dilemma is that once a child is taken from the parent's custody, things rarely go all that well for the child
there's usually difficulty finding a family to adopt and properly care for such a child, so one has to weigh which would do more harm and it's going to be a judgment call

The mother's IQ was the only laughable part of that article.

"I'm doing the best I can"

    "And your best sucks!"

That was the other spot of humor.

because sadly, superheros are fantasy while neglectful fucked up parents are all too real

Damn it, if evil like this can exist, then good in an exact opposite manner should exist as well.

My mom works for the child-abuse courts here in Sacramento, and even the worst story she's ever told me can't come close to this shit.

This makes the stuff that kid went through in A Child Called It look tame.

my buddy used to work at a men's shelter

he read explicit police descriptions of all of his dudes' crimes

one guy would make his son and daughter have sex and then he'd jerk off onto a piece of toast and make them eat it, for example

dude worked with people like that 50-60 hours a week

i'm surprised he didn't kill any of them

Man, this is easy to believe.

I recently sat on a jury where a man was charged with 32 counts of gross sexual assault.

A woman essentially used her daughter as sexual currency from the time she was 5.

The urge to strangle both was nigh overwhelming.

I'm telling you, people should have to have a fucking permit to be give birth. If you don't have a permit, the child is immediately taken from you upon it's birth. And you are shot in the knees.

    nothing

Not a single thing I do can help the situation.

This is like getting pissed off over genital mutilation in Africa, or women's rights in the middle-east.
