    That is a sexy box.

What's kind of sad is all the rest of the games I'm getting this year, I'm getting the LE of (if it's available to me)

    STALKER Clear Sky? LE.
    Spore? LE.
    Saints Row 2? LE.
Fable 2? Well I'll probably get this and I'll likely cave in for the LE as well.

I'm a sucker. Especially if it comes in a nice steel case.

Why does Venkman sound like Garfield?

I was so excited when Bill Murray was cast as the voice of Garfield in the live action movie. Great casting, shame about the rest of the movie.

I GOT HERE AS SOON AS I COULD.
    COMMENCE THE GHOST-BUSTIN!

    Holy fuckballs I love Ghostbusters!

The vocal cast in the cartoon was excellent too. Lorenzo Music, Maurice Lemarche, Frank motherfucking Welker!

I voted on the box-art for the DVD release, if it ends up coming out in a box that looks like the fire-house then you know who to thank.

    rgbdvdartvoteeo0.gif

Also, if you're a fan, watch this making-of.

    Part 1
    Part 2

One of the best episodes from the series:
    The Headless Motorcyclist

Peter is framed for attempted murder when a headless biker attacks a man he had been in a fight with earlier in the night. The Ghostbusters investigate only to find the woman that Peter was chasing after is actually a descendant of the famous Ichabod Crane from the Legend of Sleepy Hollow, whose family has been chased by the ghost ever since Crane managed to escape from the specter in 1790.
    Part 1
    Part 2
    Part 3

Having the box shaped like the Ghostbusters HQ is a no-brainer in my mind, hope they go with it.

One of my most remembered episodes from the series was the one with the Doomsday door.

Jesus-- that's really a high mark up if you ask me. I guess people will still buy it in huge numbers though.

147 episodes for $180 dollars is actually really cheap for a television show, especially an animated show

Still, it's a very big investment I think. It may be of value, but I am not sure of many people who would pay that much for it. Most of my friends get their hands on $100 and then hold onto till they save up some more for something big.

I guess they simply aren't part of the Otaku.

    o_O

Also yes, both garfield and Freddie from Scooby doo are all up ins.

See to me they both have very different sounds. Mainly because the cartoon version seems to have a more pronounced electric guitar.

See, when other kids were playing with their TMNT toys or Thundercats stuff, I was busy comparing the songs. Yeah...I was that kid.

One Halloween my mother and father worked to make me my own Peter Venkman jumpsuit (brown with a GBII armpatch). While other kids were running around with their proton pack toys on over their t-shirts I was fully decked out with a jumper, Ghostbusters belt, ghost trap, proton pack and even my own name-tag.

That was the best Halloween EVER. I was busting all my friends and classmates who had decided to be ghosts, monsters, skeletons or zombies.
