White People is awesome, I love the one with Mike Patton.

THANK GOD! I kept saying "Goddamnit, D, I know you the realest and shit but your dumb ass needs to NOT get arrested so I can get a new cd from your ass."

They seem really hit or miss
I really dig some of their songs, and then a lot are just too cheesy or something and I'm all ehhhhh
Being from Canada, nice to see love for Classified and Buck 65.... although I'm shocked not to hear any love for Choclair, Saukrates, Kardinal Offishall, or Brass Munk.
And seeing as many people have mentioned Nas & MF Doom.... who else has listened to 'Nastradoomus' vol.1 and 2. Man... I still play the shit out of those tracks, 'Shoot Em Up' is my song.
9th Wonder & Buckshot are also live. Saw them in concert back in June for the release of 'The FORMULA'.
Saw someone mentioned Ghostface... he is by far the most consistent Wu-Tang member. From Pretty Toney to the Big Doe Rehab... man hasn't released a bad album. And that doesn't even include 'Supreme' or 'Wallets'. Kilo is one of the best driving songs.
Anyone else go to 'Rock the Bells' music tour this summer? Up here for the Toronto show we had The Cool Kids, Murs, Supernatural, Jay Electronica, The Pharcyde, De La Soul, Rakim (and Kid Capri), Mos Def, Method Man & Redman (with Street Life), Nas, and finally a Tribe Called Quest. That concert changed my life, and I didn't think anything could top the Marc Ecko hip-hop festival from a few years back.

So I was over at my friend's apartment yesterday, and he pulls out this original vinyl pressing of Rapper's Delight he found at goodwill for $3, put it on his radawesome record player from the mid '50s, and it really reiterated to me just how awesome rap was back then.
Dispensing with all the violent themes, drugs, and obscenity actually made that music better
I am serious people, check out The Cool Kids. Gonna be a big deal.
These guys refer to themselves as the "Black Beastie Boys." They can sound straight out of '88 when they want to, but completely modern and hip (let's not forget the hop) at the same time. Just do it.
