    I believe most of the attendees are probably quite reasonable and cool. Not as cool as me of course, but still.

    I tried a Bawls last year and it was okay, but for the life of me I will never understand the obsession with it.

    Do they view it as some tradition from the early years of PAX or something?

    It is a drink that phonetically shares a name with part of a sexual reproductive organ. A joke about genitalia, ladies and gentleman.

    Well yeah, but the thing is is that chalk is an inert substance so it shouldn't in theory be picked up by any detectors because it doesn't react.

    That and I was too lazy to empty my chalk bag as I'd have to clean it out properly as well which is a bitch of thing to do. I've talked to other climbers and they say they've brought it to places to problem before.

    Here's hoping no anal probes!

    I really think it's as simple as Bawls being marketed to and perceived as a part of gamer "culture" so plenty of sheep jump on board and feel the need to consume it at any lan party because, hey they're REAL gamers

    that's just my take on it

    Two flights!

    Perth to Singapore then Singapore to ghuanzhou

    1AM to 630AM fir the first.

    Then 815AM to 1220PM for the second.

    Then I have an overnight train ride at like 5PM which takes me to Guilin then a bus ride to Yangshou for my climbing trip.
