Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
This is the second time this has happened. The issue is that the phone magically stops receiving a signal from any tower. The phone displays the "no service" message regardless of a location. I've power cycled, I've updated the firmware, and I've restored my phone to the original settings. I cannot get a signal from any tower. Since I updated my firmware the phone has to reactivate. It cannot complete this process without a signal from a tower.
My phone worked fine last night. I woke up this morning to that fucking message of no service. It has not worked at all throughout the day and my attempts to remedy the situation have not helped, and have possibly made the situation worse since now my phone isn't 'activated.' The phone has done this before, but when I updated the firmware the situation was corrected.
I'm not an Apple fanboy. This is my first Apple device, and it is about to be my last. I really do like the phone and I have gotten enormous use out of it, but right now I am very frustrated and incredibly disappointed.
