And I'll trust my Master's Degree in Playwrighting
and fuck Webster... do you know about Noah Webster? The reason spelling is America is so fucked is because the dude just decided "Hey, I'm gonna change the spelling of everything here in America because FUCK THE BRITISH"
There is but one dictionary and it comes from Oxford

so my best friend is a theater major, and she's pretty awesome/hilarious
but there's this one girl who's always mackin' on my ex who talks in a really quiet voice all the time as some sort of power trip (i guess because if you talk quietly, people have to really pay attention to hear you, kat has explained to me) and does this 6 degrees of separation thing between herself and robert deniro who she will quietly explain to anyone listening that she would refer to as "mr deniro" if she ever met him out of respect
....well yeah, he's older than you and he's successful, of course you're going to call him mr deniro.

yes... in America theater is the place and theatre is the art!
see the (us theater) part, that means that people in the us who go and use the er spelling are retards. In the world of academia (which is right) the accepted use is as I have stated above.

The company my dad works for sponsors a theater production company where I live, so we get to go to a play every December. I've seen tons. The Hobbit, something about Star Wars, Anne of Green Gables, Pinnochio (with puppets! It was awesome), Peter Pan, Treasure Island, Oliver Twist, and some other stuff.
I've also been to a few musicals, Phantom of the Opera and Jesus Christ Superstar stand out for me. I was also dragged to Cats in my younger years, when my mom was trying to culture me. So I didn't enjoy it much. I would like to go see it again though, what with maturity and an actual enjoyment of music.
EDIT: Forgot to mention I enjoyed reading Macbeth, Julius Caesar, and Hamlet in English class in my last few years of high school. I would like to see productions of those.

You realize that not only are you a pretentious douchebag, but you're also wrong and an idiot, right?
Wicked will make you feel so incredibly gay for liking.
Hi, I'm Dan.
We have obviously never met.
No you don't understand.
You will walk out, an appletini will appear in your hand, and you will find some fag hag and sing "The Wizard and I" with her before making out because it's non-threataning as soon as you see it.
As gay as you think you are already, Stephen Schwartz, and for that matter Flaherty+Ahrens can push you far beyond that.

It's hard if you don't want to die from an overdose of Vitamin P.
The P stands for "Pretentious as fuck".
There's a huge difference between being pretentious and just being right because you're educated.
Being a theater major you probably wouldn't know that difference.
Have fun wasting your college experience with super easy classes because you and your ilk are just too stupid to apply yourselves to anything serious. And know full well that a kid pulled off the street will probably do a better job in film than you ever could (because I could probably count on one hand the amount of people who major in theatre with an actual interest in theatre)
Somebody's bitter. I guess that Master's Degree doesn't impress anyone when you're working as a barista, huh?
EDIT: And for the record, I'm a Theatre Technology major. My classes are about as far away from easy as it gets.

You may be right, but you're being a colossal dick about it. I realize the difference between the idea and the place, I just think spelling the two differently is superfluous.

Horribly shitty?
A degree is useless if all you have from it is a piece of paper and a feeling of being better than other people.
