360 powered down for a while...

A friend of mine had his TV refuse to turn on back in March, and they've left thier 360 powered off and unplugged, sealed in a plastic bag ever since then (they're still trying to figure out wether to buy new or repair this one). Is there any possible problem that could come of leaving a 360 off for six or so months?

    I would say dust, but the plastic bag removes that option.

    well, the plastic bag thing might have been a bad thing if you didn't take out all the air or if there was a leak. If there was any moisture in that bag when it was sealed, it would have kept it in there and possibly rusted some parts. that's why electronics come with that pack of silica gel, to suck up the moisture.
