    It is awesome.

    There's an mp3, but it's of the same thing. Page turning and all. Yuck.

    I think I like it except that her face shape was changed with the cheek jutting out. I prefer the nearly-symmetrical look. Also...I dunno, it's just less clean. By adding the cat mouth and eye shine it's trying too hard to be cute.

    You're also seeing her sprite blown up to ZOMG HUEG. The eye shine pixel will look like eye shine at normal sizes.

    Thanks to those who suggested the sword for that tank boss. Although actually it was a combination of that and 5 beers that made it possible for me to beat it! Who says drinking doesn't improve gaming ability (or random luck)! Onwards to the rest of this glorious game!

    I prefer the old style graphics for toroko, but i'm a sucker for old school pixel art. I guess the new one may look better when not blown up to stupidly large sizes.

    God that water level is hard when you start with 3 hp. Got to the fish boss after about 10 attempts, and had him to half health. They really should let me refuel my health before doing such a level!

    The trick to getting the best ending is reading the FAQs because it makes no fucking sense. You need to start reading when you reach the Sand Zone. That's where you begin reading ahead.

    The action and exploration are pure gold though.

    Yeah, they definitely changed too much. All that's the same is the tune. The tempo and the feel of the song are way different, and while it's not horrible it's not Cave Story.

    Thank god. I thought something was off with the sound effects, especially the way the power triangles were INCREDIBLY LOUD AND ANNOYING when they were bouncing.
