I'm pretty pumped still. It depends on what your motivation is, most of the time. The game is less gear-oriented, so if they're focused on that I can see the game not being as fulfilling.

Really. I never got the feeling that it was a timesink. The game seems to have a nice feeling that whatever you're doing is going towards some aspect of your character.

Nope, the only other books I was able to get were some scattered books from what I think are the Gaunt's Ghosts stories

    (what's an omnibus)

Omnibus is a collection of a few books. Usually those in a series. For example, the Space Wolf omnibus has 3 novels collected together.

It's a reprint of a whole series in one paperback volume after the story is finished. Ravenor first appears and gets maimed in the Eisenhorn series. The timeline of the Abnett novels, skipping the Horus Heresy ones, goes

    Eisenhorn>Ravenor>Gaunt's Ghosts

Not sure when in there that Brotherhood of the Snake takes place, it stands pretty much on it's own, and Double Eagle takes place during the Gaunt series.

Also a lot of the supporting characters in Ravenor first appear in Eisenhorn. Definatly pick it up and read it but you might be slightly thrown off by reading them out of order.

Yeah except when you're grinding INF for like an hour and a half to get a marginally better piece of equipment just so that you can go to the next area and grind for another hour and a half to get the next piece of slightly better equipment.

It's not that the game isn't a lot of fun, I just don't really have the time or self control to play it.

I'm probably going to hit 20 tonight, 21 if I decide to blow off everything important and not work. How about you go down two levels instead?

if this were FFXI I would go out and kill myself until i was two levels lower

once somebody got to level 75 and decided to see how many deaths it would take them to level down to one, i can't remember whether or not the study was ever concluded

at level 10 and udner you don't lose XP (or at least you didn't when i played years and years ago)

Each death is -10% of exp til next level btw

i am aware of both of these facts having played FFXI for some time

i guess the guy was trying to get to 10 or something

[edit] actually, now that i think about it, i have fucked up and levelled down to level 9 and 8 more times then i can count, you are hella wrong

it's below level 5 or something

The destro ch 6 PQ's are so fucking easy to farm.

Holy shit. I made most of my ch 6 renown on that spider one.

Also, destro on Azazel sucks at t2. I haven't won a match yet and I need more renown!
