Did Chen and Toasty fight, or Nerd and Terrendos? If so, I didn't see the results to those matches.
Jayson? Battle? We could use entire times of UU/BL! (I actually prefer those sorta matchups.)

I have entered into round five at this point, I have not fought my round five bugger. I have three wins.

You're waiting on round 6, I thought? Was the bye you had to give in round one the only loss you had? I was sure there was a shock loss involving you, though.

I'm not sure how it happened, but I got to round 5 despite the shenanigans involving round 1. I've had to play against 4 people for the tourney, and my last match was in round 4, so...I guess the round 1 bye didn't count?

Oh god, my perfect scorekeeping! I am reviewing your battling history, mister!
So far it's a (default) loss against toasty, and rockinx. Win against jaysonfour.
Then in round four you were up against rayvnblackheart, terrendos, nerdgasmic, or aggril. I am still trying to figure it out.
This happened before round 4. So, munkus may have fought round 3 twice. I have a feeling that munkus beat nerd in a non-official match and got confused. His post up there is from when I just started keeping track of score, and speed and I just took him at his word that he had won twice.
Munkus was up against me in round 4, but then Speed jiggled things around when he noticed that some people were playing each other again, and made it so that I was fighting the winner of Aggril vs Munkus, as far as I'm aware? I forget. It's a bit of a mess!

I fought the people only when told to fight them. Jayson said I was his match for the round, I played him. I was told to fight nerd, so I did. I may have fought twice in a round, that seems not only plausible but likely, but it's not because of my own mistake.
Regardless, I've won 3 matches under tourney conditions and with the same stress and pressure that a person would feel in a regular match.
You can trace it back further, at this point the only person that I wasn't told to fight from a third person was jayson, I think. I think Jayson came up to me and said "Hey, you're the guy I'm supposed to fight this round," so I took him at his word. I had no reason not to!

I may have fought someone that I was scheduled to fight at one point in time, who I was no longer scheduled to fight because of some confusion on Speed's end.

Maybe Munkus' round -four- fight was Nerd, then his round five fight (which was Aggril's round four) was against Aggril? That'd explain why he's had four battles, and his initial bye.
Yes I think this is the case. Somewhere along the line speed reshufled Munkus into round 4 vs kay, which got changed to vs dingus vs aggril.
Probably his last match should have been vs. zerokku.
Well anyway! Welcome to 3/5, munkus.

I think it should be 3/4, since we're at round five and I've fought four battles anyway.

When you don't show up for a match, you take a loss! This is how we encourage people to show up for their matches.
This is why I say we should just give a loss to people who haven't taken round 5 battles yet. If we can just get one more round then the final four can have their rounds quickly (since they are people who are actually around).
Well, that would have been a little unfair on me, Ashton, 'cause I was waiting on a battle result (which happened on Sunday? Monday?) before I could engage in my round 5 battle!
Last call before bed. Anyone want a battle with UU/BL Pokémon? The OU Tournament stuff is making me long for the old days again.

I didn't show up for my match due to lack of effort! Why should I be punished because my misfortune was earlier in the tourney rather than later? Had I lost my game on thursday then I would have been in the clear despite exceeding the stated limits, I'd still be able to play my match.
I was still putting forth a good faith effort to get my match done. Furthermore, in the overall time period of the tourney I have gotten the same amount of matches done in the same amount of rounds. 4 matches, 4 rounds. We're doing this for fun and games, there isn't much harm in letting me have the points that I earned in four rounds as if I had played in four rounds.
Finally, you want to claim that I should incur a penalty, despite my good faith effort, in order to encourage people to get their matches done in time. I say that I should not incur a penalty in order to encourage a clarity in the match-ups.

Three's not a team. It's a bit late for me to start now, though. Maybe Friday, or late tomorrow. (Gonna be out most of the evening for a meal with friends.)

Round 1 -
It seems like if you wanted your first loss to not count you should have brought it up at that time? If you really think you don't deserve a loss for being unable to find your cartridge in the time between when you signed up and the past-deadline of round 2 then I guess you can petition speed to actually fight your round 1 match and see how it goes.
Also I do not understand this jank about clarity in the matchups, since things work out much better this way.
BlueBlue, I would strongly suggest that you take over this tournament now. Or we just call an end to the whole thing.
Unless you think Speed will be done with Mother 3 sometime soon.
and shame on him for neglecting his responsibilities!
fucking assholes, playin Mother 3. I should be playing Mother 3! Why aren't I? I don't even know!
How about Thursday? Or tonight? or right now...
although i'm actually not really available much today. But still, why wait? Its not like it really matters to much who hands out the fights or runs the show.

And if you take over, you would be the one distributing points!
I am just looking at what is most fair. Since we are here under the premise of friendly competition, I don't see the harm in erring on the side that most rewards people for their efforts. I tried to get my games done in time and got 4 matches done in 4 rounds. Toasty reasonably tried to get a match done in round 1. It wouldn't be a disservice and to allow both to pass favoring the participants, they are not mutually exclusive benefits!

How about you take over now, pending Speed's return until Friday at the stroke of midnight? That gives speed the option of reclaiming the tourney while allowing the participants to move along at a fair speed.

Awesome. I've been itching for another match all week.
What has bothered me about the hiatus is that the format of this tournament is really good. I absolutely love analyzing my opponent's 10 choices to figure out what they will pick against me, and what their potential lead will be.
Sorry, what did you say? I was playing Mother 3. Something about a turning man?
ROUND 6
Jugs vs. Winner of (Chen vs. Toasty)
RMD vs. DX
InvisibleInk vs. BlueBlue
AshtonDragon vs. Kay
Munkus Beaver vs. (Loser of Chen vs. Toasty)
Zerokku, who got an extra point because he's the only one that hasn't finished Round 5 to my knowledge that still has a shot at winning, vs. Speed Racer, who does NOT have a shot at winning!
And I'm so mixed up that I'm not going to risk further complications by making pairings for people that don't have a shot anymore.
If you have 5 points or more, you're a lock for the final four. Everyone that finishes with 4 points are going to have to have a little qualifier round to figure out who the other two finalists will be.

WE SHOULD FIGHT ROUND SIX OURSELVES! (Oh fuck what the fuck am I saying.)
Also, the Psypokes IV calculator doesn't exist, Metalkid's isn't working. I guess I'll have to use... Serebii's.

And now I am seeing a point where munkus was up against kay for round 3. Mystery of mysteries.
Ok, now I have this:
This happened before round 4. So, munkus may have fought round 3 twice. I have a feeling that munkus beat nerd in a non-official match and got confused. His post up there is from when I just started keeping track of score, and speed and I just took him at his word that he had won twice.
