Everyone knew that the Mind Police kept the city safe, even if they didn't know how. You could maybe get away with something for a little while, but they always came for you in the end. If you broke the law, you could never run fast enough or far enough to escape the inevitable.
That's what everyone thought, anyway.
But people on the Bottom knew better. They weren't as important as the people on the Middle and Upper Floors. On the Bottom, some small crimes slipped through the cracks--gambling, prostitution, petty hacking--cockroaches preying on other cockroaches. Even the memory junkies were left alone for the most part, begging and borrowing and stealing to get enough credits for their next fix. But sometimes, someone went too far.
It was supposed to be a secret, but secrets had a nasty habit of refusing to stay that way. An Upper Floor businessman had been murdered, some famous multi-billionaire playboy, and the Mind Police hadn't caught the killer. Oh, they made a big show of arresting a Bottom-dweller and publicly executing him. But soon, an Upper Floor politician was killed along with his Middle Floor mistress, and another public execution followed. By the third murder, the Mind Police realized that they were dealing, not with isolated incidents, but with a calculating serial killer. They couldn't keep blaming Bottom-dwellers without raising suspicion, but for the first time in their history, the Mind Police had no clues, no leads, and no idea where to begin.
Until, somehow, a Bottom-dwelling junkie accidentally stumbled upon the memory of a murder, and a secret far bigger than anyone had ever imagined.

No problem. May take a while for me to work out the mechanics, because I got a few really crazy ones this time around.
This may actually end up being my main game if I think I can pull it off. I got a few really good ideas for mechanics, that I would love to turn into a much larger game. Just don't know if I can pull it off. Still hoping someone will contact me, but we'll see what happens.

I think we can only have two minis going at once with one main, unless special permission is given for unusual circumstances.
People that wanna make a mini PM the current main GM and they then give you permission or say a, b, and c are in line so you're behind them. So far, it seems to work pretty well.

Alright, I got my miniphalla ideas cleared up and I wondered if any experienced players could help me polish/balance it. It will be quite simple, though there's a rather cruel twist to it and I don't want the game to be unbalanced.
Just chat in finished game threads, or utilize that phalla board that was created.
I understand it's hard to not chat in here, but if the chatting continues i'm sure there will be repercussions.
Also a phalla only chat thread in CF wouldn't seem right, being that there is more than phalla in CF, I would see it working if this were a phalla subforum though.
Anyhow, I asked a few people to help with my phalla. I'm working on it some more now that I have free time but if those individuals are still interested in assisting please pm me. I may not need everyone who I asked but i'd like to know who is still there.
Isn't a chat thread, most likely never will be a Phalla chat thread. (Yes, there's the 'secretphalla' board, but then you have to put up with Squash, and really...)
It'd be a nice idea, but don't get your hopes up.
(Give me your AIM addresses though, folks. I'm always up for talking to people on there. :P)
On a different note...the next Phalla (mini or not) I intend to run is more in the style of Phallout - Fable. (Or Phable, if that floats your boat.)

Generally its the choice of the game op how they want to police it. Some post restrictions are really easy to tell though.

It's like Metal Gear or something, even though it's over there's more to see. Freakin' great! Also I'm pretty sure this thing broke my porn addiction. FUCK YEAH BEST PHALLA EVER!
It's a good while off, but I am unsure what to theme my next game as.
I've had people request another Death Note but I'm not sure how serious or desired that is. I think I could surpass my first game though with what I've learned.
