Just popped into Dupont Circle while trying to find Rivet City, and a horde of my rotting brethren followed me into epic battle against a swarm of raiders.
I mean, I get that it's just a city and not an entire continent or whatever
but still, it seems like there's a very large variance in encounters
well
in that case, how big is it compared to the californiarea of fallout 1 and 2
Its not just one big city. D.C. is roughly a quarter of the map, the rest is the surrounding open wasteland.
It feels a little smaller to me than Cyrodiil, but there are more interesting locations sprinkled about. Its also kind of necessary since you don't have a horse to run around on.
So VATS is obviously for people who aren't good at aiming because it sucks up ammo and you can't use it at any good distance
but shit, the camera following the bullet into the Super Mutant's cranium which then proceeds to explode is worth it
Haha, is that the Capitol Building? I was just there.
I like when you go to the meeting room or whatever, there's a copy of "Lying: Congressional Style" on the podium.
Yeah, Capitol Building. I can pretty much annihilate everything with my plasma rifle so I just ran through the whole thing and killed everyone. Too bad there weren't any big rewards, but I got plenty of ammo and stuff. And there was a behemoth.
which is bigger than Oblivion's. I think that was Cyrodil right?
Yeah, it was cyrodil.
also:
I was wandering around the western portion of the wasteland last night and accidentally found Dad. I was like, "Screw you Liam Neeson, you're staying right there until I find you on purpose!"
my character is practically translucent because much like in oblivion and mass effect characters often look vastly different and retarded outside of character creation
i thought i was supposed to get a powdered wig? where is my powdered wig >:(
I was so weirded out by the end of that mission. I mean, imagine describing it
"Hey, um..so, funny story, really! I once had to persuade a robot I was Thomas Jefferson!

seriously going insane
where is the goddamn key for grady's safe in the goddamn marigold station? It says it's in a firehose locker but I can't find one anywhere in the damn station. Is it some obvious fucking place like right at the begining?

I figured out it was the manhole cover right after I almost got murdered by a pack of molerats in the bathroom

Looks like I'm going to have to fix some stuff before I can actually start shooting people.

I host a podcast about movies.
I made a girl with black widow. It doesn't kick in often, but boy does it kick in.
