Damn, I was hoping this would be dropped due to the "slowing-economy."

Also, how did they pick LEGO: Indiana Jones over Batman? Like, was it a hat, or more of a dartboard setup?

It always kind of annoys me how a Rock Band or Guitar Hero is guaranteed to pick up every Best Soundtrack award. I don't know, just the fact that the soundtrack is the game seems to be rather unfair.

I thought it was kind of a nondescript voice, but I suppose the girl actually has talent. Juno Eclipse doesn't belong anywhere near that category, though.

It's not impossible to do, some non-music game just needs a really kick-ass soundtrack.

Even with all the Rock Bands and Guitar Heroes out, I'll still take the soundtracks of THPS3, THPS4 and Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX over them.

I think it's just that another game's licensed music is always going to be secondary to the game itself, so they can't afford as much or as much quality as a game where the music and soundtrack is the game itself. Yes I understand it's petty bitching about what's essentially a meaningless award, I know how inconsequential it is, but it irks me.

And Mortal Kombat VS DC isn't even out yet, is it?

Why isn't The World Ends With You nominated for best handheld? It's the only handheld game nominated in any other category. You'd figure it'd say something for the game that it can compete on equal footing with console titles.

Also, MLB Power Pros 2008 > Madden 09.

also wtf at crysis warhead not on the list lololol (nor dead space) and fallout 3 being there... Fallout 3 is pretty damn good looking BUT definitely not top tier.

And where the hell is my damn dead space? Only one nomination!?! OUTRAGE

I'd construct a situation such that everyone died at the exact same moment so that we could attack whatever afterlife there happens to be en masse and so take it over and create a perfect unending afterlife existence. Also, everyone who wanted one would have an afterlife pony.

    It has better graphics than
Gears of War: because it has more than 3 colors.
Fallout3: because it's cardboard cutout NPCs animated with motor bolts are more realistically animated than the NPC Fallout.
MGS: technically qualifies as a movie thus it isn't eligible for any video game rewards.
