Man, I wish we had places that sold Udon and Ramen here. Maybe we do and I haven't heard about them. Now I know what I'm doing tomorrow.

Can we add driving in Seattle with an Oregon license plate?

Those assholes are always in front of me and they never know where the fuck they are going.

I want to shoot them in the fuck.

I need to learn to cook better.

I did make spaghetti today. I realize that's the cooking equivalent of being able to count to three, but still.

Hunan province is well known for their noodles

basically you are brought a giant bowl of super hot soup

and then several small dishes of possible additions, all of them raw

these things include eggs, fish, meat, veggies, etc

you toss in whatever you want with the noodles in last

stir it all up and YUMMY

Sounds kind of like shabu shabu. I've had it once before, and it was pretty good, but I'm not sure how bastardized it was.

I'm glad we have a good ramen place in Seattle. They just opened three years ago and before them I have no idea where a decent ramen place was in this town.

it IS pretty fucking hilarious when Chinese people bastardize food from regions within China

finding a decent Cantonese place in Shanghai is hard

while finding a decent Shanghainese restaurant just about anywhere is ridiculously difficult, most places are awful

but just about everywhere, their Sichuan restaurants are always decent, though based on personal experience they really do dumb down the spice in most non-Sichuan places of China

I had genuine Sichuan food once and I practically died

I thought you were vegan, though?

in any case, udon is superior

I am, but if I didn't eat it then it would go to waste. And I think being wasteful is far worse than eating animal stuffs

Futore, I'm sending you psychic hugs for this statement right here.

The funny thing is that the substitutes usually aren't that bad like people say. I was presently suprised the first time I tried out a cheese substitute at a local pizza place.

I got a thing of substitute ham at the grocery store last night. It will be the first substitute meat I try. Wish me luck!

    Yes but you are English.

In the 18th century you gathered up 99% of your shouty people and sent them here.

Since then the other 1% have evolved into chavs, but you aren't one of them either.
