Actually, that's looking like it's the Zombie Handbook of this year's Secret Santa. Haven't a few people been gifted that already?
Two, three? I know I was one, and there was another post just above that got one, and I think one in between.
You maybe already know this, but if you own a PSP then portable SotN does exist in the form of Dracula X Chronicles.
It's at least three times, and maybe four. I gifted it to my Santee, and I could swear I've seen it pop up at least three other times.
Don't sweat the check up message. I'd have done the same if the tracking said delivered but my Santa hadn't reported in yet.
As for my real name, you can thank my dad for that. He had a bit of an obsession with soccer (football to our international fans) at the time when the then FIFA president shared the same name. I'm not Portuguese but I do have friends who have ancestors from their if that counts.
As for lack of Dead Rising, I'm currently surviving the zombie apocalypse by playing Left 4 Dead. I can only handle one zombie game at a time. The survival guide said to stick together.
I'm no wing eating expert, but for the most part we take what we get over here. We could use your wisdom on more than just wings. I'll take quality over quantity any day.
Unfortunately, I can't hide candy in this place without it being discovered.
Luckily, the damage was kept at a minimal.
Thanks again for the gift. Don't sweat the last gift. I've gotten more than enough to make up for five Christmases.

Though I don't have a 360, after watching the review, I would go pick EDF2017 up as soon as I could.
So awesome.
Up until the point the letters: "F" "R" "O" "M" kept getting stuck to the scenery in the background instead of popping up as you went passed them on a sled. My gf made me stop and have a break at times as I kept yelling at the "M" for getting stuck to the background.
Still, I know my santa has thought of me because I've received an anonymous message with questions in

EDF2017 looks so damn awesome. It almost seems to have a N64 Body Harvest vibe to it. I really wish I had the cash to pickup a 360. It's definitely at the top of my list once I do break down and get one.

Yeah, it is pretty cool game. Currently Sandlot is working on "Dynamic Slash" together with Nintendo. It will be interesting to see what they can do when they have actual budget.
Expect a 40ish page essay...
And I don't think you stalk this thread, but if you do, when you get my gift, it'll be really really easy to guess who I am, given how many hints I've dropped.
EDIT: and if you try and publish it as your own I will hunt you down. This thing's taken me ages.
Great read if you can get past the bags of words.
Aww, just look how it sits there. Shouldn't we wait unitil Christmas Eve?
Obligatory "OMG he sent me kittens in a box!!" picture.
And here's the loot!
Keltis: Who told you that I'm a board game buff? This one was right at the top of my to buy-list, because I just love strategicaly challenging and clever games. Great choice!
Snow Crash: A mafia pizza delivery boy who is also a cyberninja who's after a computer virus that kills hackers in real-life! What's not to love about that? I heard only good things about this book and I always wanted to give it a read but I never really had a chance to. Now I can!
Cryptonomicon: It's from the same author, Neal Stephenson, only that this one tells the "epic adventure story of soldiers, secrets, gold, spies, codemakers and codebreakers, conspiracies, power, pirates, prisoners, lovers and great escapes ... in World War II", phew. Man, I think I'm going to fall in love with that guy.
Fight Club: How did you know that I'm the only person on this planet who hasn't neither seen the movie nor read the book yet? Clearly, those are some highly remarkable stalking skills.
So thank you, my generous, anonymous (Canadian) Santa, whoever you are! Now, it's about time for you enter the stage, step into the spotlight and earn the praise you so well deserve.

It still says it's entered the destination country.
On the flip side, tomorrow is my Birthday, sure would be terrific if my Santa sent out my gift in time for it to arrive tomorrow.
I would open it like a ravenous Ren
Oh my god, kittens turn into books. Is this how they survived the trip?

It's actually Portrait of Ruin. I got confused.
There's another package on it's way, it may do yet.

Hopefully will be be quick so I can combine and send with the first load. Now to make the video...
Depends on how you send it, but i have ordered packages that have taken weeks when tit should of just been a few days. Like other people have said, if you sent it to a student they may not know they have it. I went home a few weekends ago to find a stack of mail and packages that no one had told me about!
I don't believe it was a student's address.
Still, my Santee could be on vacation, I suppose. I won't fret unless another week goes by, at which point I'll curse myself for not shelling out for tracking.

Anyways... Glad you liked it all! Snow Crash and Cryptonomicon are 2 of the best books I've ever read, so I hope you enjoy them. Cryptonomicon can get rather deep and "mathy" but I hope its not too much.
As for the game, it looked great, won a game of the year award. I was praying you could read German. I made sure the books were the English copies just in case.
Happy reading!

All I ended up with was a card, and a bar of thornton's chocolate from a different shop. Which I then ate as I was hungry and a little annoyed.
Good choices. Stephenson is great. Well... except for the Baroque cycle. But mostly great.
They don't even hide it...
Anyone for new years secret santa?
When you send something to the states from Canada, your updates stop when it's handed off at the border. You will receive an update when it's been delivered or a delivery card was left on their doorstep.

The books are right up my alley - I kid you not, just a few days ago I was dangerously close to picking up Snow Crash when browsing through the selection of my local book store. Good thing I didn't, then. And yeah, my German should be considerably better then my English, or at least I hope so (although I do prefere to read my books in the original version, so you did everything right after all).
