A Secret Santa out there had the good heart to send EDF2017?

    You just made someone's year.

Actually, that's looking like it's the Zombie Handbook of this year's Secret Santa. Haven't a few people been gifted that already?

Two, three? I know I was one, and there was another post just above that got one, and I think one in between.

So I received another box from Amazon.com today. Inside was Dead Rising for XBOX 360 (hott!), and three Penny Arcade comic books. I tried to take pictures for a picture post, but my camera batteries are dead and I do not have more at the moment.

So all in all I received:

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for DS
a Buffy action figure (bunny Anya ftw)
    Dead Rising for 360
    Penny Arcade: Birds are Weird
Penny Arcade: The Case of the Mummy's Gold
    Penny Arcade: The Warsum Prophecies

Ok Santa! That has got to be the final tally and I still don't know who you are! I have your physical address up there in Canada, so fess up or I'll be at your doorstep before you know it!

That's not all! (there is a teeny weeny one missing/on it's way) . I have to admit that I had forgotten I purchased dead rising.....

Anyways, glad you liked the presents and sorry for no personalized note like everyone else got.

Post pics of the whole stash!

Thank you so much! Definitely an awesome first PA Secret Santa exchange. My relatives are in awe. The books are awesome and I'm already halfway through the Castlevania.

Symphony of the Night for the DS!? WHA?

I think it was supposed to be Order of Ecclesia. Because I can assure you there never was a DS version of Symphony.

    My dreams....... dashed.

You maybe already know this, but if you own a PSP then portable SotN does exist in the form of Dracula X Chronicles.

    Signature not found.

It's at least three times, and maybe four. I gifted it to my Santee, and I could swear I've seen it pop up at least three other times.

Glad you got the package, and enjoyed the contents. I am always a little wary sending to apartments/ townhouses/ condos, as I never know how secure delivering a big box is. Sorry for the paranoid proxy message I sent out last week, and I'm glad you're feeling better!

I had a great time stalking you - I was just worried that I was stalking some other Shady3011. I had no luck with your real name - which is apparently shared with some big-shot Portuguese professor. As for the choice of game, I always include something Zombie themed for my Santee, a little indulgence of mine. I was shocked - shocked! - to see that you hadn't played Dead Rising.

I am a little alarmed about your statement that you had never had wings with Bleu Cheese. What exactly do you cretins do out there on the left coast? That's like saying you've had sex, but only in someone's ear! Good luck hunting for sponge candy - it's available only in certain regions. I lol'd at the mental image of you throwing the suckers in a great arc to distract your siblings whilst you made off with the loot. Hope they liked them!

PS: The potential extra item fell through. Sorry! It wasn't anything major, but would have been cool nonetheless.

Don't sweat the check up message. I'd have done the same if the tracking said delivered but my Santa hadn't reported in yet.

As for my real name, you can thank my dad for that. He had a bit of an obsession with soccer (football to our international fans) at the time when the then FIFA president shared the same name. I'm not Portuguese but I do have friends who have ancestors from their if that counts.

As for lack of Dead Rising, I'm currently surviving the zombie apocalypse by playing Left 4 Dead. I can only handle one zombie game at a time. The survival guide said to stick together.

I'm no wing eating expert, but for the most part we take what we get over here. We could use your wisdom on more than just wings. I'll take quality over quantity any day.

Unfortunately, I can't hide candy in this place without it being discovered. :x

Luckily, the damage was kept at a minimal.

Thanks again for the gift. Don't sweat the last gift. I've gotten more than enough to make up for five Christmases.

Yep, I'm still waiting but I'm quite happy just to do the gifting :) And the LittleBigPlanet greeting card took me ages but was enjoyably fun to make.

Up until the point the letters: "F" "R" "O" "M" kept getting stuck to the scenery in the background instead of popping up as you went passed them on a sled. My gf made me stop and have a break at times as I kept yelling at the "M" for getting stuck to the background.

Still, I know my santa has thought of me because I've received an anonymous message with questions in :)

EDF2017 looks so damn awesome. It almost seems to have a N64 Body Harvest vibe to it. I really wish I had the cash to pickup a 360. It's definitely at the top of my list once I do break down and get one.

Yeah, it is pretty cool game. Currently Sandlot is working on "Dynamic Slash" together with Nintendo. It will be interesting to see what they can do when they have actual budget.

I just finished the last part of my gift! I'll be sending it out within the week Santee.

    Expect a 40ish page essay...

And I don't think you stalk this thread, but if you do, when you get my gift, it'll be really really easy to guess who I am, given how many hints I've dropped.

EDIT: and if you try and publish it as your own I will hunt you down. This thing's taken me ages.

Depends on how you send it, but i have ordered packages that have taken weeks when tit should of just been a few days. Like other people have said, if you sent it to a student they may not know they have it. I went home a few weekends ago to find a stack of mail and packages that no one had told me about!

    I don't believe it was a student's address.

Still, my Santee could be on vacation, I suppose. I won't fret unless another week goes by, at which point I'll curse myself for not shelling out for tracking.

As for the game, it looked great, won a game of the year award. I was praying you could read German. I made sure the books were the English copies just in case.

So, bit of an epic fail today. I went out to get the snack portion of my santee's gift. And after a very long shop through Sainsbury's (including picking up my own lunch) a had what I thought was a pretty nice selection (just nothing my santee had asked for as s/he had terrible taste). Anyways, god damn fire alarm went off whilst it was my turn at the checkout and we all had to leave. I waited half an hour for them to re-open so I could retrieve my things but I just ran out of time.

All I ended up with was a card, and a bar of thornton's chocolate from a different shop. Which I then ate as I was hungry and a little annoyed.

The books are right up my alley - I kid you not, just a few days ago I was dangerously close to picking up Snow Crash when browsing through the selection of my local book store. Good thing I didn't, then. And yeah, my German should be considerably better then my English, or at least I hope so (although I do prefere to read my books in the original version, so you did everything right after all).
