God i hate Sylar.
Sylar has TK, which he doesn't need hands to operate, only to be theatrical about.
It's easy to forget, because it very rarely comes up, but Sylar is telekinetic.
Seriously... I wish he used it more often. Instead he always ran around turning things to gold or melting them into puddles of black goo.
But CT, the puppet guy had his hands all bound up! If he can't do the hand-thingy how can he use TK?

Their scenes are by far the worst in the series.
that's what happens when you try to control the world's most awesome being. You bleed out your nose and then die.
I'm more curious why her two greatest enemies were busy killing each other, and Samantha's response is to JUST STAND THERE! Seriously, light both of them up like marshmellows and you're good. Why was she even carrying a gun before that? Sylar's good at stopping those; we haven't seen him do that to fire, and frankly his electricity-stopping skills are pretty weak.
This made me laugh because its so true.
The one time, THE ONE where her fire powers are of some use and she doesn;t fucking use them, she uses a god damn gun.
I have an answer for this, as well as everything.
See Meredith, in her infernal wisdom, realized her death by fiery explosion was coming, and wanted to save the FX budget for then. It also could be she's fucking terrified of both of those guys, and wasn't thinking straight. Her secondary power is girlish screaming and fleeing. Her tertiary power is sleeping with Nathan Petrelli.
I hope there's something along the lines of a character reset for S4 because I don't think I can stand to look at claire or peter any longer.
If Sylar's really dead I'll eat my own brain.
While not unique their arcs were handled well enough and they were adequate for one season.
Since then they haven't had a clue what to do with either of them nor anyone with god powers who spend most of their time with no powers.

Redo season 1, but switch all the powers around. For example, give Matt the space/time thing. Give Hiro TK or, even better, Sylar's "hunger." That could be really interesting. not that it would ever happen... but still... I would love to see Hiro going around killing people, but feeling really, really bad about it.
What other non-animated superhero shows?
"You made me, I can blame everything on you! You gave me a hot girl who made me feel a little jealous and I started murdering people, damn you, you bastard"
I think there's a good chance of Sylar dying of "his actor not giving a shit now that he has a promising movie career," actually.
That seems pretty promising...

In Season 1, them being clueless and a little ditzy (along with Hiro, Nikki's kid who has fallen off the planet, Matt) were reasonable, because... well, they were brand new heroes and were just discovering their powers, and a big mix of glee, fear, and idiocy just works well in an origin story. I think the problem is that the rate and direction of their maturation in the narrative hasn't matched with the way we think the rest of the show has gone (or at least how we think it should have gone).
The positive movements we've seen with Sylar and Matt have regressed... Sylar's back to BRAINS, and Matt's back to being a big puppy dog around his woman. Peter never really grew and is still in Keanu mode. Hiro had his mind reset, but never really seemed to be moving toward the badass he was shown to be in Season 1 anyway, which is a shock because it seemed as if Season 2 was supposed to be the catalyst for him going toward that and he went through all that and ended up empty handed.
The only people who seem to really have grown are Claire, Noah, Nathan, Mohinder, and Ando. Claire has grown up a bit, but she's still a kid (which is ok with me, actually). Noah has grown as well, but he will sometimes regress if there's danger (which makes sense). Mohinder's gone crazy, which makes sense, considering what he had to work with and everything that's happened. Ando has grown as much as you'd expect a sidekick to grow. And now he can be a super-sidekick.
Along the way, they've dropped some people and replaced them with people who aren't around long enough to grow (Fearman, Elle), are too crazy to grow (Puppetmaster, Arthur), or who showed up with some sort of mental disability (Inbred Jed, Daphne).
Nathan has changed, but he's all over the map. He went from covering up everything about his abilities, to wanting to control everything, to embracing his destiny, to being a pantomime of Jesus, to wanting to share power with the masses, and now back to wanting to control everything.
They've shown more mature future selves in time travel episodes, but no one seems on the path to become those future selves. Syler and Claire started going there, both with him becoming more Beaver Cleaver and her learning to kick ass and take names, but Syler's totally embraced the crazy again. Claire's re-railing of her personal train was a good move. She's only annoying to me in the way any teenage girl would be annoying to me, so I'm fine with her. She was not good at the "dyed my hair black, black like my soul" future potrayal, so staying around as a girl scout works.
There's still plenty to work with on the show. Claude's still out there, somewhere. Angela's not shown all her cards. The characters could actually start maturing, and the can pick a direction for Nathan and let him stay that way. I just hope the new folks can make a decent meal out of the potluck soup they're being handed.
You don't need anyone to act to play invisible people. Just look at Jessica Alba.

Why... why am I quoted?
Because the spoilers I read said that it wouldn't be that easy for him to get tehm back.
And I'd call that inredibly easy.
She stood outside with the others.
I hope it's just flying. I mean, he can get his absorption powers back for all I care (and that might have been the case here), but getting all his former powers back at once is a bit too convenient.
I'd assume he got his absorption powers back, meaning he could fly out since Nathan was there and the fire didn't hurt him since Flint was there. The Flint part could be questionable.
