Why is it so fucking hot in this office? It's like a million degrees in here....it's just not right, office's should be a calming 22 degrees celcius, not the fiery hell only found at the epicenter of a nuclear blast. A soothing moderate temperature is the only reason people work in offices, there's little else attractive about it, except internet access and lunch.
why is it my camera makes all of my stuff look fucked up? I just took a picture of something and it looks absolutely NOTHING like how it does in real life. What is up with that.

Am i the only one who has to stop and stare at Tams avatar for about 30 seconds? I swear it is hypnotizing me. It happens every time i see one of his posts!
yah but this one was the last straw, its kinda bearable with most the things I took but this. It took the picture (I applied a dark background to it) and it sucked out all the shape and demension you see in real life and made it a bland gray blob, If you look at it in the picture then look at it in real life the difference is in-comparable. And bare with me for talking it's been a while since I tried doing this whole, talking thingy again.

who knew that if you took something out of its context, it would look different.
I'm talking about the picture I drew if you look at it in real life in comparison to what my camera took.
A camera attempts to make a 2D representation of a 3D object. The goal of the camera and the photographer, in this case, is to do what they can to approach a realistic representation of the object though the viewer is already separated from the subject by the very medium used to show it, the camera.
The same reason a photo of yourself looks quite different to you when compared to what you see in a mirror.

because I just straightened it and it's goddamn long
How long do you want it? If you have a prefered length cut it shorther then that length and maintain it. That way you prevent split ends from accumulating. In terms of time. Whenever you have the time.
Long hair is really rare nowadays. agh the nostalgic gracefulness.

Ya as a preface I love long hair for a lady, but I'd say anything past the middle of your back is too long. Long enough to drape over your shoulders is great, anything beyond that is wasteful and gets in the way!
ND, I'm in the same boat as you. If you're lazy or undecided.. it just keeps growing... and then when straightened it is almost frightening that the length snuck-up on you in such a way.

But yeah, my hair is naturally wavy, so I had no idea it'd gotten that long (haven't straightened it for a loooong time).
The longest part of my hair (if I let it fall down my back) reaches just above my waist. I'm short though, so it's not that crazy-long. It's long enough for me to go "hmm" about, though.
Originally I was thinking about growing it out long enough to be able to donate some to Locks of Love, but after realizing my hair had been layered awhile back....it would mean that my hair would probably have to be down to my ass before it would be an acceptable length to cut (I would probably look fuckin horrible if I had a pixie cut).
Soooooooo verdict is that I'll probably get it cut soon, and ask for just a "trim". If I ask for them to only take off an inch, they'll probably take off 3-4 (always the case)...so I'll just ask for an inch or inch and a half...with it shorter in the front, cuz that always looks nice.

I have no words for how utterly awesome that is.
