Made me take a bit more precaution before doing it again. But that was over a year ago.
Yeah, I met my most recent girlfriend online. And it was great. But we didn't bring titles into the equation until we'd been seeing each other for two or three months.
Well, you just got to know your info. Looking at Facebook/Myspace profiles, pictures, asking friends who know the girl. People with your experience have encouraged my caution. Thank you for your service.

I was lucky when one of my best friends from the past turned out to be the best partner for me (not found through eHarmony) because I don't think I would have ever found somebody if they allowed me to be that choosy.

It was more of an occasional thing - every few weeks we'd have a text message conversation, or see each other on MSN. Then something would come up that could have been a fun way for us to meet face to face, I'd suggest it, she'd show initial enthusiasm and then some reason or another would turn up. Rinse and repeat.
For most of those three years I had a girlfriend, so it was more just trying to meet up and have a real shared experience. Although this New Years' I had literally nothing else to do, as I don't really know anybody any more in my home town. After having to be vetted by her friend, I wasn't deemed good enough on the morning of the 31st, at which point I decided, "Fuck this", and now I'm not going to bother caring any more.

Yeah, I've always thought we were pretty similar, even the stupid comedy videos you've done are just like a lot of ideas I had, or at least something I totally would have thought of. You should make it up sometime in the near future and we'll chill.

In a strange twist of fate, the girl I met around the same time and then vowed never to speak to again is at this moment in time engaged in MSN conversation with me.
