    I like The Presets and all, but you can only listen to them for so long. They don't have a whole lot of depth to them. Probably why they've been so well received by the munted crowds that go to festivals, but not so much overseas.

    Essentially.

    I would argue they are just as, if not more "generic", than The Faint.

    Which isn't to say I don't like them, because they have some catchy stuff, but yeah, you summed it up pretty well.
