First thing I need to tell you about this beer is give it 5-6 months in the fridge. I had a fresh one and it was all right, but got a bit harsh and bitter towards the end. Everyone was raving about it, but I couldn't see what all the fuss was about. Having polished another one off last night dated "July 2008", now I know what everyone was talking about.

I have some kind of beer in my fridge from one of my many attempts at liking it. I don't know what kind. I don't feel like getting up and looking. I think it's been in there for about a year.

It's bitter chocolate oatmeal. There's nothing wrong with bitter chocolate, and nothing wrong with bitter chocolate on oatmeal.
That said, stouts are usually meant to be drank slightly chilled.

I bet it still won't taste like a milkshake though. Which, as a child, is what I envisioned beer to taste like.
After all, adults loved the stuff so it must taste like a milkshake.
Boy, was I disappointed. The only thing I could compare it to is the episode of Family Guy when Stewie finds out his favorite British children's television show is a farce.
Something that occurred to me now that my government has decided to spy on all email traffic. If you use webmail, and email to the same webmail provider (say if you used a gmail account to email another) does that actually traverse the internet from mailserver to mailserver in the traditional manner, or is it just shunted around google's internal network?
