1 Heavy Raider is placed at the Fore, 2 at the Starboard-Quarter.
3) Special Rule – Surprise Assault
There are no vipers in this setup.
The Cylon Virus' effects continue to be felt - a second Cylon basestar with supporting units appears opposite the first, flanking Galactica. Turn 27: Lee "Apollo" Adama (Darian)
Characters: Admiral William Adama (Rend) - Command, 5 cards in hand. Lee "Apollo" Adama (Darian) - Resurrection Ship, 2 cards in hand.
Kara "Starbuck" Thrace (abotkin) - Armory, 3 cards in hand.
Gaius Baltar (Maddoc) - Press Room, 8 cards in hand. President Tom Zarek (DevoutlyApathetic) - President's Office, 4 cards in hand.
Yes. I am now wishing I had a better idea of what exactly appears on civilian ships.
On average, 1 Population per Civilian Ship. Two have no Population loss, Two have a -2 Population loss, while two have -1 Population with either -1 Fuel or -1 Morale loss in addition.
At least we're doing good on population right now, so we've got some buffer room available. But this is not looking particularly good right now, particularly with it now being the revealed cylon's turn.
Receive Skills Step: Darian draws 2 Piloting cards. (The Piloting Skill card deck is shuffled afterwards.) Movement Step: Lee Adama moves to the Cylon Fleet Location. Action Step: Activate Raiders starting at port-quarter (5 o'clock) and moving clockwise.
Starboard-bow (11 o'clock) Raiders:
Raider 1: Destroy Civilian Ship, -2 Population.
The remaining three Raiders move to the Fore of Galactica (9 o'clock).
Lee Adama commands the Cylon Fleet's Raiders to attack, ripping the civilian fleet apart. Turn 28: Kara "Starbuck" Thrace (abotkin)
Characters: Admiral William Adama (Rend) - Command, 5 cards in hand. Lee "Apollo" Adama (Darian) - Cylon Fleet, 4 cards in hand.
Kara "Starbuck" Thrace (abotkin) - Armory, 3 cards in hand.
Gaius Baltar (Maddoc) - Press Room, 8 cards in hand. President Tom Zarek (DevoutlyApathetic) - President's Office, 4 cards in hand.
Receive Skills Step: abotkin draws 2 Tactics, 2 Piloting, and 1 Engineering card. Movement Step: Remain in Armory. Action Step: Activate Armory to attack Centurion Boarding Party.
Rend plays Tactics 3 to aid the attack with Strategic Planning.
Armory Roll: 3 + 2 = 5 < 7, miss.
Starbuck grabs weapons from the Armory to try and combat the encroaching Centurions. Despite the support fire provided by Admiral Adama, the boarding party continues to move forward...
3) Special Rule – Relentless Pursuit
Keep this card in play until a Civilian Ship or Basestar is destroyed. If this card is in play when the fleet jumps, shuffle it back into the Crisis deck.
A third basestar cannot be added to the board. abotkin, you must choose the order in which the Raiders activate.
That was an amazingly crappy followup crisis to get. The game could potentially be over right here, we're about to lose 3 civilian ships. Even if it's not, I think that about does us in. Ah well, here's hoping things aren't as deadly grim as they appear.
3, 5, 9, 11 o'clock. I don't see it making much difference in this case.
A third basestar cannot be added to the board, and so it is not placed.
3) Special Rule – Relentless Pursuit
Keep this card in play until a Civilian Ship or Basestar is destroyed. If this card is in play when the fleet jumps, shuffle it back into the Crisis deck. Turn 29: Gaius Baltar (Maddoc)
Receive Skills Step: Maddoc draws 2 Politics, 1 Leadership, and 1 Engineering card.
Characters: Admiral William Adama (Rend) - Command, 4 cards in hand. Lee "Apollo" Adama (Darian) - Cylon Fleet, 4 cards in hand.
Kara "Starbuck" Thrace (abotkin) - Armory, 8 cards in hand.
Gaius Baltar (Maddoc) - Press Room, 12 cards in hand. President Tom Zarek (DevoutlyApathetic) - President's Office, 4 cards in hand.

While the crisis plaguing the fleet is, I assure you, foremost on my mind. I believe I'll take this time to keep our stalwart president company in his office.
Moving to President's Office, playing Politics 1 - Consolidate Power to draw 2x Tactics
Statistically speaking you're supposed to get 1 cylon assault every 10 crises and 2 jump preparation per 3 cards drawn.
We've got 0 jump prep in 5 turns, which puts us statistically down no less than 3 preparations, and 6 times as many cylon assaults as intended. If we can jump from here? That is more of a feat than any victory I've witnessed yet.
[EDIT] Correction, 1 cylon assault every 7 crises, which means we've only gotten between 3 and 4 times as many cylon assaults as statistically intended.
Actually... I think you've already seen both -0 Pop Civ Ships go down and the chances of a cylon attack are actually 1 in 7 (10/70). I'll check what the Jump Advancement rate is.

Err...frak.

Ah, indeed you did. Yeesh, I need to get some rest, making mistakes like that...
Anyways, I totally play out my hand into this check.
Also, I will contribute nothing to this skill check. Go ahead and waste your cards overshooting, thanks.
Also, how many civilian ships are still available (neither destroyed nor in play)?
3DS: 0963-0539-4405
Seven civilian ships have been destroyed, four are on the board, and one has not been placed.
1. Besieged, Cylon Assault
2. Luanch raiders, no jump prep
3. Boarding parties, Cylon Assault
