Blimey that game looks tense, even from the first 20 minutes i was edgy. Glad you're playing it and not me! The swinging the hammer around mechanic looks a bit haphazard to me, which presumably reinforces the idea that combat should be avoided if possible. Can't wait to see the first combat encounter

Awesome, didn't even know there was a new Helloween LP till I followed the link in the dead space thread. I was expecting (hoping) it to be a FEAR 2 LP as I've never heard of this game either but with Helloween at the wheel I'm sure it will be entertaining anyway.
The game so far doesn't look that scary, more annoying, I hate games that make you walk around in the dark. Although that corpse you came across looked more like an unactivated enemy and taking on zombies with a hammer could be quite difficult.
I don't know if you mentioned it or not already, but bringing up your inventory does not pause the game. That's why you're already out of flashlight juice - during those minutes while you're reading aloud, the flashlight is going OM NOM NOM and draining power. Pull out your glowstick instead if you need light.

You missed some batteries in the storage room. Make sure you get them, because:
you'll need them to fight the spiders, as
direct light scares them away

I'm trying to record but I cant have the sound the way you guys would prefer I'm afraid. It makes a horrible whistling noise as soon as I un-mute the stereo mix. So I'll record this one the 'shit' way but any help would be great.

There always has to be a Mr. Satan in the games you play, huh? It's almost as prevalent as Mr. Shotty.

I do seem to recall from the video of the game that was linked in the Dead Space thread towards the end to convince you to do this game, that the (annoying) guy playing the game said it was like a save point.

No see you read it without talking, speed doesn't enter into it since we can just pause and read it all whenever we want, and you clearly don't care about video length since you can just split it up into multiple videos or use a less shitty video host like viddler or veoh or whatever
