I love how fat people act like it's some violation of their human rights when airlines charge them for two seats, even though the second seat is usually heavily discounted.
I mean, if your fat ass takes up 2 seats, do you honestly expect to get the second one for free? How do you think another passenger would feel if they had to pay full price for a seat next to you, and you took up half of it?

are you fucking kidding me? christ, my 13yr old son is type I and he pretty much regulates himself. of course he's 6' and 170lbs, so he knows he can go out of whack pretty quickly.
but i grew up on carls jr (in CA) and hardees (in NC). that is the best bad shit.

at 13 I had been Type-I for a year, and about the same size. But I was probably 50 pounds heavier.
I was a terrible fatty in my teens. When I graduated HS, I was over 300.
yeah, he's been type I for a year now. he get's his build from his mom's side. she's small but her dad and uncles were 6'5"+ 280 pounders. it breaks my heart seeing him go through it and knowing what the future has in store.

if not, ask about it. Even if he's fairly controlled. I can NOT recommend that enough. Changed my life. 10 years too late, but I'd certainly be dead if I hadn't finally got it.

On a related note I love obesity-hypoventilation patients, so fat the weight of your chest compresses your lungs. Now that is fucking fat.

I do have one thing going for me which is after going on a 2 month binge of Vault during college I swore off green-colored drinks FOREVER, and 2 years later not a drop has touched my mouth since.
I'm having a really hard time dropping Coke though. It enhances so many foods that I like (particularly spicy foods).
But, I don't gain weight from anything. I could eat desert 3 meals a day and not gain an ounce.

Aspartame may not give you cancer, but it's quite likely that artificial sweeteners like it and saccharine will make you fatter. I know it's anecdotal evidence, but I went from drinking nothing but Diet Cokes to drinking nothing but water and (unsweetened) iced tea. I found myself less hungry and I've dropped about 40 lbs so far (several months, combined with a few small improvements to my exercising). Here's a link to the article they talk about in PopSci. The study focused on rats, but they talk about the implications in humans near the end.

I dunno, I'm a big guy (6' 3", 260-265Lbs) and I've been out eaten by men half my weight. Some of the guys from my hall went out to get some late night dinner at McDonalds a couple of weeks ago and my friend Mike (6', 135lbs) ordered 2 double quarter pounders with cheese and an order of fries. This is not the first time I've seen him order this gargantuan meal.
