I took it on Saturday. I dunno, I've already taken the SAT so I don't really care at all about my ACT scores; I'd only really report 'em, like, if they're perfect or whatever.
I new pretty young that if I wasn't mistake, I was a rather poor choice. As the evidence came in, I decided the former was much more likely. One day I asked my mom if there was a connection between my birth and her insistence that I carry a condom. She didn't like the word "mistake", she preferred "surprise". She's over that now.
A few years later my dad, thinking I was some kinda retard or something, decided it was time I knew where I came from. He said, and still insists, that I was planned. Usually I think that it's just his usual failure to say anything of any significance, but sometimes I wonder if there's something more to it.
My dad just might be creepy enough to have planned something tht was a complete surprise to my mother. He's certainly enough of a dick.
Come to think of it, my little brother was born about six months after my dad married my step mom. Maybe it's a habitual thing?
There's a difference between a mistake and an accident. I was an accident. My dad went from working 60 hours a week at an auto garage in Detroit, to enlisting in the Air Force and becoming an F-4 mechanic. Thanks to his enlistment, my mom got two bachelors degrees, and two associates degrees, all almost completely free, due to military tuition assistance. My mom now makes +$80k and my dad doesn't have to work at all. I was an accident, but it was probably the best thing that ever happened to my family. My older sister maintains as much, anyway.
